Working on cutting boards, pinch bowl bricks and some very cool live edge charcuterie boards from olive wood with beautiful grain patterns…just in time for the Cabarrus Brewery Market next month:)
Bet you can’t guess what’s next for these end grain, black walnut cutting boards. Pretty sophisticated operation, I know😆. I can already tell by the grain patterns that these will be beautiful after a final sand and some oil!

So, before I drill holes and oil these charcuterie boards…..stainless steel handles or no handles at all??
A little spray of water between each sanding stage is gonna help create a buttery smooth finish to these cutting & charcuterie boards👍👍

Got a chance to build this dining table for my best friend’s home on the east coast. A TON of sanding & finished with (deep penetrating & original) for this nearly 11’ long bullet wood slab from Costa Rica. Took 8 of us to get this 500 lb beast up the stairs. Love how the base turned out!! Lots of memories in store for this piece in its new home:)
