Although I’m not graduating today, I’m celebrating those that are 🥳👏🏾

As I reflect on being a first-generation

✅ Bachelor’s graduate (2016)
✅ Entrepreneur (2016)
✅ Master’s graduate (2019)

There weren’t many, IF ANY, torches passed to me. Being the first in my family to do all these things meant there were A LOT of lessons learned as a result of mistakes made that could have been avoided with the right guidance & support along the way.

Now this IS NOT a pity party 🙅🏾‍♀️ but a celebration 🥂 to ANYONE ELSE, including myself, who made it through such circumstances the BEST way we know how 💪🏾
