When I open the
cover of my story
Or disclose my garment
So you can see the scars
that answered my name

When I expose
my daily ride to
you, either in words
or in frames

I don't do such
to buy empathy, nor
painting a picture
of respite, nor want
to buy your heart.

I tell you, to tell yourself
that if the sun rises
too high on me and
I survived, you can
as well, do better

I tell your veins, if mine
can gild in the dark,
yours can brim like
the rainbow in the sky

I tell your thoughts
that, since mine can
ponder each night like
a pounding yam to
make hai before
the sun will shine
yours can go beyond the eyes

If you can't see
light in what you're
doing; what you're
doing will see the light
for you, that keeps us going
and no one worth
facing that, than you.

THE PLUS + AND MINUS -

I have to write words from the heart,
that I found another age to start
Tomorrow is pregnant, but I have a scope
May it bream my dying days and resurrect my crippling hopes

Plus in age and minus in days
Consulate of hopes and grace
The thorn of favor I crave
And rock gentle to always be brave

Let the pains die like yesterday,
and the sun to keep it warm each day
I don't have the strength to carry my creation
But I have the courage to endure any ramification

For the wrong paths I took
The empty rope without a hook
Here I'm with a chance to act right
And gleaming grace to see the light

I found life not waiting for me
Why should I wait for others?
Life's line clustered in cages
Plus in age and minus is days.
