We recently launched a free mobile app for all members to provide faster and specialized communications from the hall. Members have expressed that there is a need for faster and more frequent communications, and this is another way to facilitate that. We strongly urge all members to download this important tool. The app will feature contact information to the agents, news, and events. links to health & welfare, union discounts, and access to your contract. On December 1st there will be a raffle to win a $500.00 gas card for all registered members.

Update on today's meeting.

After the hearing, here is what the possible outcomes can be.

1. The emergency trusteeship is finalized and the local returned to Terry.

Or

2. The emergency trusteeship can continue with its investigation to hold everyone and anyone accountable that needs to be held accountable.

The trustees will make a recommendation to general president Sean O'Brian. At that point he will make a decision and inform us, the members.

Keep in mind that all input given by the members at today's meeting will be provided to president O'Brian.

There are a number of shops with contracts about to or already expired. Here is a little insight on how the process works and your options.

There are a lot of brothers and sisters that have no idea what benefits the local can actually offer. From the back to school programs and scholarships to your everyday health. Unfortunately benefits are available to only a portion of the local. These benefits should be fought for and available to all brothers and sisters.

Want to file a grievance?
Make sure you state as much to your steward and/or Business Agent.

Make sure your information is correct.
Make sure you know what article of your contract was breached.
Make sure your requested settlement is stated clearly.
Make sure you sign the grievance form.
But most of all make sure the time frame stated in your contract is followed.
A copy of the grievance will be mailed to the address you provided for your records.
