Waverly again. So now I know it takes about an hour to systematically cover 2 square blocks, with traffic, safely. That includes parking, walking, and working around trees. Sunday morning is best for less traffic.

Ohio's Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks are now a UNESCO World Heritage site UNESCO World Heritage Sites are considered "outstanding works of human genius." There are now 25 in the U.S., including the Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks, the Statue of Liberty and the Grand Canyon.

Great news--the Anne Arundel County Archaeology Lab will soon have expanded hours volunteers, including evening and weekend options!
Starting in September, the lab in Edgewater, MD will be open for volunteers on:
- Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Thursdays from 1:00 to 7:00 pm
- One Saturday a month from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
