Gender Consultant

Consulting men/husbands on the impact of women’s economic empowerment interventions in a community is very important for understanding changes taking place in households! Here are the some observations I made:

A) the men/ husband(s) provided insights into practical ways they contribute towards making women’s economic empowerment possible.

😎 Men/husband(s) also discussed reasons why they would/would not support their wive(s); and lastly

C) they shared positive changes that they have observed in the lives of their wive(s) which corroborated very well with what the women/ wives listed in women only focus groups.

The discussions with men only focus groups enriched the quality of data collected.
