Recognizing that vulnerable communities are hit the hardest by climate disasters and are far too often left underserved by relief agencies, the María Fund was conceived to move resources to grassroots initiatives and community organizations that are part of an infrastructure that has the capacity to fulfill needs over the short and long-term.

The Semilla Project is having a fundraiser for the expedition “The Return” a vision for Black, Indigenous, children of immigrants, &/or formerly undocumented immigrants to grow as leaders and reconnect with Indigenous communities & culture in their homelands.

Sunday we were proud to kick off Earth Week with fantastic our partners The Semilla Project and Dreams In Action NM by doing some Bosque clean-up near the Dolores Huerta Bridge ❤️ Special thanks to everyone who came out and volunteered their time to give back to our natural spaces here in ABQ 🌱

In small groups, we will be picking up trash along the public trails in order to ensure healthier Bosque ecosystems and reciprocal interactions with the local natural spaces in the ABQ area.
