My ankle has been in pain since April.

After 2 visits to orthopedics and 2 visits to pain management, it was decided that I just needed physical therapy.

After 8 weeks of PT and more pain, my MRI is showing tenosynovitis and now I have to stop all pt exercises and use a boot and crutches.

I'm too autistic for this s**t, people. I really hate this.

I don't know how to fix it and it doesn't feel like the doctors know either.

When I try to advocate for myself and say I'm in pain, I get dismissed and invalidated. Keep walking, keep exercising.... etc... And now I need crutches....

I started taking ASL classes online with an amazing group of q***r deaf teachers, and it brings me so much joy. I'm just a beginner, but I'm hoping to gain a conversational level of fluency someday. I love having a safe space where no one is forced to speak orally.

This is me trying to warn my second family therapist (because the first attempt at therapy with my family failed).
