Her portrayal of Dorinda was nothing short of spectacular, earning her well-deserved ovations. Critics lauded her profound voice and interpretation, marking her a standout performer of the night.

Arriving in Madrid just three days before the horrific events of October 7, my time there has been marked by the terrible situation my home country faces. Amidst this, Sunday night unfolded unexpectedly as I made my debut at Teatro Real Madrid as Dorinda in Händel’s Orlando, filling in for magnificent Giulia Semenzato who unfortunately had to cancel her performance due to illness.

Throughout my time in Madrid, the cast and team at Teatro Real offered support, empathy and compassion that completely contrasted the violent responses I witnessed on social media. Their kindness truly brought back my faith in humanity and I want to express deep gratitude to all my colleagues and the remarkable theater team.

A special shoutout to the incredible Giulia, who despite the setback, went above and beyond, offering her support behind the scenes, ensuring a smooth transition for the show. I’ll be forever grateful for her kindness.

As I return home, I find my country changed, a different place from the home I left. The entire experience of the debut at Teatro Real has been surreal, and now, back in the reality of home, it feels like a distant dream.

המפגש הראשון בסדרה 'מילים למנגינות' יהיה עם קובי מידן ונושאו הלחנת שירי משוררים.
יהיו בו ביצועים לשירים מוכרים וגם כמה שירים שאחשוף לראשונה לפי טקסטים של מספר משוררים ביניהם: דליה רביקוביץ , אברהם חלפי ואלזה לסקר-שילר.
על הבמה יהיו איתי הזמרים: גיא פלץ ,שהשתתף בשנה שעברה ביצירתי 'תמונות מוזיקליות מפרקי אבות' טל גנור, שהשתתפה לפני כמה שנים באופרה 'מעשה בשלושה אגוזים' ויעל צרי אותה הכרתי בבי"ס 'רימון'. הנגנים הם: גיא לוי, יהונתן כהן ועידו זלזניק שניגנו ב'פרקי אבות' ויונדב הלוי אתו הופעתי בארה"ב לפני כמה שנים.
