Happy Sunday Legends,

What a cracker of a sunday, hope that everyone was getting waves.

This week’s surf report. The majority of the swell coming tomorrow and tuesday, with people seeking the bigger of the swell will need to find open beaches to find the biggest of the suf ( Bondi in the east/ Curl Curl/or freshy in the North).

I would recommend intermediate surfers trying to make the most of the swell to look to make the most of Monday - Wednesday period. Mornings will be best with good winds forecast all week. Really look to hit the open beaches to make the most of the south swell or find a southern corner like Manly/Dee Why in the South or Maroubra in the East.

Thursday and Friday will see tiny conditions perfect for beginners going out the back!

A big happy mothers day to all the mothers out there

Private double lesson this morning with Claire and Julie. The rainy weather cleared everyone out and we had the whole corner to ourselves 🤙

Hey Legends,

I am away this week from Wednesday to sunday in King Island for one of my best friends 30ths! Very excited to go and see this untouched little island that is packed full of good surf spots and very few humans. WIll be back next week to resume lessons.

Weekly Surf Report

Looking like a pretty wintery and stormy week of surf along the east coast of Australia. Medium size short period wind swell with unfavourable onshore winds due essentially everyday. Winds are primarily south to South East turning east often throughout the day. Basically the only clean opportunities will be southern corners e.g Manly/ Dee Why in the North.

The biggest day of swell is today and will be dropping throughout the week. I would look for early mornings at the protected corners for best bets. Later in the week the swell is building back up so smallest days will be Tuesday - Thursday with mornings as best windows. If you are in the eastern suburbs it will be a lot more wind effected but hey at least It will keep the crowds down.

Weekly Surf Report

Looks like a pretty small week of waves this week but hey, today was meant to be 1ft and its about 3ft with the occasional bigger set. Looks like an increase of NE swell tomorrow with NE winds so look to those protected Northern corners for the cleanest options e.g North Bondi in East or Manly in East. Wednesday also looking small and clean. thursday there is a tiny spike of south swell with accompanying winds so look for protected southern corners for the cleanest options and the biggest swell e.g South Bondi or South Manly will be clean but very small.

Friday also looked very small and clean. All in all a great week for beginner surfers and intermediate surfers going out back who are working on there turns.

Saturday we will see a HUGE spike in South swell but with accompanying rank SE winds. Sunday swell should fade and there should be some more options with the wind.

Bit of a mixed bag this week. Strong southerly change tomorrow (swell direction & wind direction) meaning only southern ends will have any kind of quality. The pick of the bunch will be south to Mid - Manly on Monday.

Tuesday is probably the worst day for winds with a SE wind turning straight east wind but still plenty of swell around.

Wednesday - Thursday will be back to standard summer conditions with Peaky north swell and North winds. Look for protected Northern corners ie. Bondi in east or Freshwater in the North for most protected options.

Friday looks the pick of the conditions with a solid 2-3ft (head high) conditions coupled with offshore morning winds turning NE ( Same rule applies as above).

Bit of a slow start to the week with Monday's onshore breeze not creating ideal conditions, it's funny how cool days a lot of the time coincide with onshore days across summer.

Tomorrow morning will see perfect conditions for beginners with small and clean waves for the morning before swinging northeast. In which case go and look for those protected northern corners like North Bondi/Freshwater etc. Wednesday is also looking good with good winds a little more a bump in south swell. Beaches getting more of that swell will be south-facing such as Bondi in the east and Freshwater/Curl Curl in the north.

The back half of the week isn't looking amazing with Southerly winds due in most days from early on. Try protected southern corners such as South Manly and South Maroubra.

Just got back from a rad South Coast weekend with an epic crew! Thanks to everyone who came and made it such a sick weekend.

Weeks Surf Report

It looks like a fun week of waves coming up with a fun East swell coming to start the week with good early morning winds. Get in early before they swing onshore.

The winds aren't so great for the rest of the week so get in. With the incoming strong south winds try to find protected corners like South Manly. Winds look good to turn back on Friday so another good day to capitalise on.

What a weekend! summer is definitely here and the waves are still pumping. What a combination.

Looks like this week is set to settle down in terms of swell for the beginning of the week. A little swell should stick around for tomorrow morning before fading into Tuesday and Wednesday for smaller days. As always with this time of year look for the early morning starts before the winds turn onshore from about mid-morning onwards.

A decent size south swell is meant to arrive Thursday with accompanying south winds. Not many places will be great besides south manly and protected southern corners (maybe Maroubra in the east).

This weeks Surf Report !

Looking like a small to medium size week of waves. Today will see the biggest day of swell before it begins to drop offf for the rest of the week. As always with this time of year look to work around the winds which are usually lightest in the morning before turning onshore or north east in the afternoon. Looks like Wednesday and Thursday will be the smallest for beginners to paddle out the back. A little spike in swell is coming back half of the week Friday to Saturday.

School holiday camps are over so I’m around for private/ group and film sessions!

This Week's Surf Report.

A pretty slow start to the week with a declining mix of south and East swell on Monday. Get in early before winds tend NE and once they do look for protected northern headlands e.g. North Bondi in the east or Curl Curl/Freshwater in the north.

Wednesday looks like a heft North east swel should hit the coast accompanied by some strong NE winds. Will be good options at sheltered Northern corners. That swell looks like it will hang around for the rest of the week with a little drop Thursday before picking back up friday and Saturday and swining around to the south.

This Weeks Surf Report

Summer has definitely arrived because this week is looking pretty dismal for swell. The good news its great condition for beginners to practice paddling out the back and catching green waves. Remember to try and get out there early to make the most of early offshore/light winds before it turns east (onshore) most days from mid-morning onwards. Also when it's really small trying to surf around low-mid tide is best before the high tide swallows up the swell. High tide & small waves = lake.

The swell is primarily from the east this week so if you're chasing a bit more swell try and venture to east-facing beaches e.g manly in the north and Bronte/Tama/Maroubra in the east.
