What a GREAT time at Liar's Club in Chicago last night! Thanks to Gary and the fine folks at the club for taking care of us and presenting a proper rock show, and thanks to The Claws and Jeff Massey, for just being some of the coolest musician buddies we could ever want to know. We wanted to tell you about a special show that’s going down two weeks from tonight on WED, MAY 17 at Liar's Club in Chicago. THE STEEPWATER BAND’s own Jeff Massey will be playing solo acoustic, opening for The Claws from Los Angeles, and Furbaby and the Tight Spaces, which is a project of Chicago area musician friends that includes TSB drummer Joseph Winters, Adam J. Arling of the LAST VEGAS, our old friend Tony McQuaid of Loudmouth / Mag 7 fame, and Anthony Maietta of The Black Oil Brothers! There’s bound to be some inter-band jamming going on with all these musician buddies in the house, including TLV vocalist Chad Cherry, who will be in town fronting the headline band The Claws! This is a rare chance that Jeff Massey & Joe Winters are on the same gig but not playing in the same band, and should make for a memorable and interesting evening! If you’re in the Chicago area, and looking for a mid-week rock show, by all means COME ON DOWN & join the FUN!
