KING KOOPA

I am loving the sun on my face.

I love to go out for breakfast. Hope dad is serving Rose petals.

Koopa King is awake from his winter sleep. While still moving slow he has worked up an appetite over the winter months. In the wild he loved the Globe Mellow. Since the King gets what he wants here it is.

Koopa is out of brumation and eating his favorite desert plant.

Loving life...and snacks.

I like when my friends come over to take a bath and relax on Saturdays.

Desert Ice plants are nice, but not as pretty or tasty as roses.

Last year, my dad planted some globe mellow plants for me. Not sure how he knew that we eat glow mellow when we are in the desert. They are really tasty and good for me. As soon as I woke up from my  winter sleep I feasted on my Globe mellow. Thanks, dad

I am so hungry, mom knows I like dandelions carrot tops and Carrot for desert.

Time to get up and inspect what he did to my Kingdom.

The great weather made me decide to come out from my brumation and see what I missed. NOT HAPPY ! Think I will go back to sleep.

Just about done. I always eat dessert first. I love many flowers especially roses.

My dad sez I need to bulk up for for winter. That is what he does. Soon I will brumate and miss Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Ok, you try eating watermelon without hands!

I do like watermelon as a treat once in a while. Bells are good too.

My mom taught me a pretty presentation when serving a meal is very important. However I do not eat crawling protein.

Just gonna save this for later. It's hot time for a nap.

I go all out for Collard greens. I eat them first. My DAD likes them because they stay fresh longer. Mom buys them because they are really good for me.

i don't come out of my burrow often in this heat... but when I do I enjoy strawberries.

I like to have friends for a sleepover. They just drop in.

My DAD sez he is the TOP GUN of the photography world. He keeps saying "Going to guns". "I got tone".

Not worried.

My dad says he had to put the criminal "MUFFING GANG" in jail. She has been sneaking into mom's closet. I think she must be trying mom's clothes.

We are lucky if we have one good friend in our life. He may look different, act different and march to a different drummer, but he is my friend. I have more than one, I am blessed.

I like to invites friends over for a drink.

There are many things that we tortoises like to eat. My dad says not everything is good for me. Lettuce does not make me big and strong. It has little or no vitamins and takes the place of food that is good for me. While it will give me water it will do nothing else for me. My mom and dad do not give me lettuce for that reason.

Who does not love a SPA day.
For a long time I did not like going into the spa, but I got used to it. Like my plant friends, I like water. i get it in my food but i also like to get it in my spa where I can store it in my body.
