While outside the cold rain is hitting the roof I am feeling so over the moon at the moment seeing this piece finally finished and now ready to be in a new home.
Also my first time painting a puffy bomber jacket, love the result!

Found my watercolour studied piece on my Facebook timeline when I was an art student back in 2013 in Bangkok. It seems more than a decade ago looking back to it when summer comes round again I might walk over to Heaton Park to quick sketch some watercolour.

We put new flags down in the garden for the new settee (which came super late from Wayfair🙈) baked lemon cakes and getting fat but have also worked out loads as well🤣
What a lockdown we lived through.

Lockdown diary continued.
The queue at the supermarket always too long to bear, we DIDN’T stockpile Rich the biscuit but it was one of our essentials! Did try to grow a sunflower from its seed but failed🤣🙈

I made some homemade Thai food for our brother on his birthday (also deliver!🤣) / we watched loads of ’Come Dine With Me’ probably every episode of every season even/ and of course, it’s not a lockdown if we don’t do Zoom quizzes we did one or two every week (until everyone was like ok, that's enough now)/ Several walks in Heaton Park with loads of chocolate during tea time/ and I just love love love CORNISH PASTY!!!! (I just moved to England in 2019 so a lot of things are still new to me)

It was weird to do this “visits” with our close friends and family through windows and from afar! Of course no close contact at all which I find super irritating as I’m a hugger! Especially when you meet someone for the first time and all you can do is say hi and do an awkward “elbow touch” instead of shaking hands or a proper cheek kissing.

We did loads of cooking, walking and BBQ-ing during the first lockdown. Miss the sunshine so much at the moment when it’s getting dark at 3.30 pm!
P.S. We found that mug in a school kitchen!

Hello hello! For the upcoming days I will be posting “the Lockdown Diary” Martin and I did together as a couple stuck in lockdown in April. It was a daily task and we managed to do it for 32 days! I’m hoping that posting these in up-close version would show more detail for you to see and maybe laugh with us and you might could even can relate to it. Have fun and feel free to share❤️
