Today was the First Annual William W Aulenbacher Sr. Memorial Invitational Special Olympics event at Erie High School.
Many, many "Thanks" to the Erie County Special Olympics Team and our Knights! There were over 300 athletes participating. A number of the The Aulenbacher Family members were present as well.

St. Francis Xavier Parish in McKean received the surprise news that the relic of the arm of St. Jude that has been touring the United States will make a brief stop in their parish this Friday, Dec. 22 from 3 to 7 pm. All are welcome to come and receive the graces of visiting this relic in the final days before Christmas.

We come together as one body in Christ, praying Our Father. These are not just words, but an act of faith in praying for and with each other constantly.

THANKS TO ALL BROTHER KNIGHTS, CONFIRMATION CANDIDATES, AND PARISHONERS WHO HELPED COOK, CLEAN UP, EAT, DONATE, ETC. The pancake breakfast raised $622 to help defer the cost of sending the students to the National Catholic Youth Conference.

Four of our youth will be heading to Indianapolis on Thursday for the National Catholic Youth Conference, which will go through Sunday. Please keep them in prayer for safe travels and for their faith to come alive in a new and wonderful way.

The Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a pancake breakfast on Sunday to help with the cost of this trip. Please consider making this a part of your plans for breakfast after the 7:30 and 9am Masses. A free-will offering will be taken and all money will go towards the cost of the trip.

There are conferences like this available for all ages. Locally, we have the 138Women retreat, the 2232 Men's retreat, Divine Mercy Encounter, Cursillo, and more. These are great opportunities to grow in your faith and meet many new people who are looking to do the same. Contact Corey at the rectory for more information.

Come join our choir! Adult choir is also looking for new members. They sing at the 9am Mass and practice on Thursdays from 7:15 - 8:30.

Council 4262 is active these days. Our annual Sports Raffle Calendar will be available in a couple weeks. Please see any Knight to purchase one.

I apologize for the short notice. We are able to have an Exemplification of our Degree tomorrow evening, Thursday, July 6th. The degree will start at 6 pm at the Chapel in the rectory, 136 West Main Street, North East, PA. Our council, 4262, has 2 candidates. A few Knights of Columbus improved safety within the North East Borough last month. The aged wooden steps at the St. Gregory Athletic field were removed. Many thanks goes to Dave, Wayne, and Chuck. They are awesome guys.
