The Spokane Public School District is asking voters to approve a $200 million bond and a levy in the February special election. This morning I shared how voters can ask questions, voice concerns, and tour the schools SPS is hoping to update or rebuild.

This morning we followed breaking news of a commercial fire in Chewelah. The 100-year-old building that housed Sety's Ace Hardware is destroyed. I was really moved by the closeness of the Chewelah community this morning. So many locals came out to support the volunteer firefighters keeping this fire contained.

She wanted to make sure they didn’t suffer from heat-related illness, so she created a hydration station at her house, complete with cold water, electrolyte drinks, and snacks!
