A heartbreaker today for Vermeer as their season comes to an end. Had an amazing year that included a Cornhusker League championship and the championship in the Vermeer Tournament.
The kids put everything they had into the season and we could not ask for more.
Thank you to the players and families for your sacrifice and effort this summer.
Day 3 of districts. Elimination game Vermeer vs Cornhusker Heating and Air. 10:00 at Den Hartog
Vermeer loses their game vs Sandhills 6-4. Competed well, just didn’t have somethings go our way. Come back tomorrow and get back on the winning side.
Districts round 2. Vermeer vs Sandhills at Den Hartog 12:00
Vermeer picks up their first win in districts. Solid performances on the mound led the way. Next game will be Saturday at 12:00.

Vermeer is your Cornhusker League Champions!! Great performance on the mound by Will Flege with Nolan Schmale coming in to shut the door. Good defense helped keep Norfolk off the scoreboard.

Hope all our families make it back safe from Denver. Vermeer goes 2-1-1 on the weekend. Wood bats took some time to get adjusted to but were fun to use.

Vermeer takes home the championship in the tournament behind a stellar performance on the mound by Will Flege. Vermeer had great defense behind him and a strong offensive attack.

Vermeer wins a great game against Millard South. Gage Fredrick pitches a gem to lead the way. Runs were hard to come by but Vermeer ended with 1 more than they did.
Championship game tomorrow vs KB Building at 5:30.

Last night Vermeer was able to win both games out at Hastings. Great pitching performances led the way and good offensive production helped take home the victories.
