The once abandoned 1×3 classroom block at Shimulala Combined School in Chingola peri-urban has now been completed.
We engaged Siksha Foundation to help with the completion of this valuable project.
Our children will now have access to a decent learning environment. This is a step in the right direction as we strive to provide not just free but quality education for all.

This morning we addressed the victims of the Kasompe airstrip in Chingola to update them on various commitments and resolutions we have made.
I'm pleased to disclose that we have found them legal land to relocate to under the guidance of President Hakainde Hichilema .
The 6-hectare piece of land was made available through a well-wisher and l have promised to facilitate the process and ensure that the victims get their offer letters within accepted time.
DMMU has moved in to provide shelter, food and finances to each affected household.
I wish to advise the residents not get land from any other group of people other than the council itself through the Planning department allocated by professional surveyors.
