🙋‍♀️ What is PEMF therapy? 🤷‍♂️
PEMF stands for “Pulsed Electromagnetic Field” Therapy. A PEMF device creates a gently pulsing electromagnetic field which restores health of horses at a cellular level by stimulating cell metabolism.

🙋‍♀️ What can I expect during the PEMF session? 👀
The PEMF device sends a pulsing magnetic field through a soft, flexible rubber coil up to 16 inches deep into the body.

As the magnetic field pulses on, the cell membrane is gently pulled by the magnetic field. On the off phase of the pulse, the cell membrane is relaxed. As the cells expand and relax, the cell membrane becomes more permeable, allowing the cell to release waste, toxins and inflammation and receive oxygen and nutrients. This receiving of oxygen and releasing of waste is what increases the natural charge of the cell. As the cell reaches it’s natural charge, the message of pain to the brain is reduced and the cells return to optimal health.

🙋‍♀️ How long does a PEMF session take? ⏳
For horses, I would allow up to an hour, but most sessions are typically around 45 minutes. 🐴
For humans, anywhere from 30 - 90 minutes, depending on injuries and comfort level. 👨‍🦰

🙋‍♀️ How long after a treatment can I ride my horse? 🏇
Immediately! This is what makes PEMF so unique.
A lot of other muscle release therapies require a 3-5 day break to allow the treatment to take full effect, but with PEMF you can pulse your pony, then go straight out and bring home the bacon! 🥓
Treating a horse right before an event or competition helps to loosen the muscles, relax the horse, and also reduces pain and stiffness from being in a small yard for the weekend.

🙋‍♀️ I want fast results! When will I notice changes in my horse? 🤑
Most people will notice immediate changes in their horse, but as the blood is oxygenated and circulation is increased, improvement will continue for up to 72 hours after a whole body PEMF session.

🙋‍♀️ How can the machine detect if my horse is sore? 🤕
Muscle tissue pulses or twitches in sore or damaged areas because of cellular membrane movement. Take a look at some of the videos I’ve posted of horses getting a treatment - you’ll see what I mean!
