- The pain wasn't your fault but the healing is your responsibility
There was a time in my life I didn’t have no where to go so i had to stay with my guy at that time. He became verbally and emotionally abusive for quite a while and then one time he became physically abusive i didn’t even hesitate that was the end of our relationship and I thank God.
I grew up with my stepfather hitting me, I remember it clearly one time my sister(his child) & I was playing and this man came in the room and started hitting me and gave his daughter 2 spanks all while my mother stand aside and watch until she couldn’t take it anymore and intervened and this was a normla thing.
I didn’t have a choice as a child but as an adult i promise to never let a man hit me and work towards my healing while love on me every chance i get.
