𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧—𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐢𝐤𝐮𝐛 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐞

𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐎𝐆 𝕻𝖎𝖗𝖆𝖙𝖆 expresses their deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Tourism and Agriculture Department of Tiaong Quezon's Municipality—for their approval, guidance, and help. With the same goal in mind—protecting and enriching the beauty of Tikub Lake, they made our initiative all possible with their guidance through out our implementation process.

𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧—𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧-𝐮𝐩 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐢𝐤𝐮𝐛 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐞

Last November 20, 2022, as part of the group’s Sustainable Tourism Project, 𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐎𝐆 𝕻𝖎𝖗𝖆𝖙𝖆 conducted a clean-up drive with the help of our partnered organizations (𝘛𝘪𝘢𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘈𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 & 𝘉𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘺 𝘓𝘢𝘸𝘢) at Tiaong, Quezon. The group’s initiative surely enhanced the surroundings of the lake.

A huge thanks to 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗟𝗮𝘄𝗮 who provided us with more than what we have expected numbers of volunteers. To 𝗠𝘀. 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗠. 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗼, the Mun. Environment and Natural Resources Officer of The Agriculture Office, and to 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹, the Tourism Officer of the Tourism Office who is actively supporting us with our advocacies and eco-tourism program.

Their support and partnership help us achieve our project's objectives and they make a great part as we reach the success of our sustainable eco-tourism program for Tikub Lake.

When you think about 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦, what comes in your mind? Is it the environment and natural resources? Or enhancing the benefits for the economic good? Whatever it may be, it should be able to create a great quality of life for every single being that lives on earth.

As humans rely on natural resources, a holistic approach to improve the quality of life, protection of the ecosystem, and preservation of natural resources is what society must deeply practice in order to make a difference. Choosing to live a sustainable lifestyle does not only mean that you are reducing your quality of life, but it is more about being fulfilled knowing that you have a great contribution for the betterment of the world. In line with this, as part of the first step in sustainability, a sustainable initiative to be conducted in Tikub Lake at Tiaong Quezon will reveal its potential to become one of the tourist destinations in the country.

Thus, We, 𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐎𝐆 𝕻𝖎𝖗𝖆𝖙𝖆, advocates to promote Tikub Lake under the triple bottom line that constitutes “𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘵, 𝘗𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘪𝘵.” Our group strives to uphold an ideal plan of action entitled “𝐋𝐚𝐰𝐚 𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐢𝐤𝐮𝐛 𝐈𝐩𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐥𝐚: 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐬𝐚 𝐓𝐢𝐚𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐚-𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐲𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐰𝐚: 𝐀 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦” to advertise the long-term effect of the program by the following reasons: to be a known eco-friendly environment, a place where people make use of the natural resources as a great source of their livelihood, and on having the ability to showcase its potential to become a tourist destination.

With this, we hope to inspire and encourage people in developing ways to give back to the environment and to show the future generation that sustainability is an important resource to meet their own needs.
