Mar del Plata is a resort town in Argentina, its name translates from Spanish as "silver sea". This incredibly beautiful city was founded by a rich Argentine businessman who built a meat factory here. This is what led to the prosperity of the town, as a result of which, at the beginning of the twentieth century, members of the richest and most noble families of Argentina already spent their summer holidays here.

After some time, numerous luxury villas were built in Mar del Plata, and then upscale hotels, thanks to which an unknown town acquired the status of one of the main beach resorts in Argentina. Now Mar del Plata literally abounds with Victorian mansions, incredibly beautiful tango shows, well-maintained beaches and magnificent nightlife.
