Birdies & Brews - A Charity Golf Tournament

Our golfers enjoyed 7 local beers and got to vote for their favorite. Congratulations to , our 2024 Golfer’s Choice for Best Brewery!

We are so excited to share that the total amount going to CRI was calculated incorrectly yesterday, and they will actually be receiving $14,250 instead of $13,000 bringing our total in the last 3 years to over $50,000. Thank you everyone!!!

Humbled doesn’t even begin to describe how we feel every year as we watch a community come together to raise awareness for cancer research and support what was once a crazy idea that we thought was impossible.

Every year, we watch our friends and family come from across the United States to support our tournament.

We watch our friends take off work to volunteer their time.

We see local breweries donate both incredible beer and their time to make this event possible.

We become amazed by all of the local businesses that sponsor or donate.

We hear stories of why people participate in the tournament and how it touched their lives.

We see all of this and know that this tournament is meant to be.

After raising $14,000 this year, we have raised a total of $50,000 in 3 years, and we aren’t done yet.

There’s so much more we could say, but just know our hearts are full today.

Buffalo, New York native, Chelsea Dantonio has been playing the game of golf since she was just thirteen years old. 🏌🏼‍♀️

After a successful junior career, Chelsea took her golf game to Winthrop University in South Carolina. During her time there, she was named Big South Women’s All Conference Team, All Academic Team, All Freshman Team, and was named Player of the Week twice. 🏆

She is currently an Epson tour player, and we are stoked to have her join us on Monday for our Beat the Pro competition! 🤩

Some might know him for his golf game, others might know him for his dad jokes, but everyone knows him for his passion to raise awareness for cancer research while drinking a nice cold beer. 🍻

B&B is an annual charity golf tournament and beer tasting at Prestonwood Country Club that donates all of its proceeds to the Cancer Research Institute.
