2017 - While recording vocals for the EP.
It’s such a sweet memory that I was accompanied by Cleo (April 2017-July 2017). She was the runt of the litter and was abandoned in my husband’s grandpa’s garden house. Left to die by nature. I knew that Cleo wouldn’t be around long enough, but she was meant to be in my life when she was for many reasons. During her 3 months of life, Cleo was greatly involved in something that will remain eternal. The one moment I left her side was when I was recording guitars at our former home.. specifically during “The Shot” .. I went downstairs to grab something to drink. That’s when I saw Cleo struggling to breathe in our living room. We rushed her to the vet where she died peacefully in her sleep. She was born with a ribcage defect. On the day of her death, I chose to adopt our cat Lia from a shelter.. as cheesy as it sounds, I believe in Lia’s approval. That’s the only approval I care about when it comes to my music. 😂If she likes what I’m working on, she’ll rub her chin against my shoulder and purr. This is such a lovely memory to have and to know that these two cats have been involved in some ways.. one leaving this earth so that the other could still guide me.

Among the various special appearances, PRAGUE DEATH MASS IV. will also feature the second live performance of singer-songwriter Thelma Ramon. An alternative musical endeavor influenced by doom, post-punk, and gothic rock amongst other genres. Thelma’s own artistic journey has been closely linked to (and inspired by) the prior Prague Death Mass events.
