As we step into 2024, we’d like to take a moment to look back on one of our fondest memories from 2023.

One of our favorites of the many memorable moments was helping host a park cleanup at Mississippi River State Park along with Forrest City High’s BETA Club.

We can’t wait for so many more great on water moments in 2024. Happy New Year! 🎆🎉

We recently opened up our 8th location at Santee State Park in Santee, SC. We couldn’t be more excited to get visitors on the water for the limitless adventures of Lake Marion’s vast 110,600 acres.

FLEXIBLE PART-TIME JOB OPPORTUNITY AT SANTEE STATE PARK IN SANTEE, SC

Hello all,

We're a new kayak and paddleboard rental concessionaire opening operations at Santee State Park in early December. Our company works with waterfront parks and utilizes innovative self-serve rental kiosks (example picture below) to offer kayak and paddleboard rentals without an attendee. We're looking for a part-time employee to help us run our operation.

The job is very flexible and only requires up to a few hours a week. Almost all responsibilities can be worked around your schedule. The most common responsibilities would be:
Weekly check-ins on the operation (could be one to multiple times per week as needed). Survey equipment to ensure it's safe to use (checklist provided). Wipe down/clean equipment as needed.

Availability in case there are any issues with the operation like equipment needing to be replaced or the kiosk needing minor maintenance (ex: battery replacement, paint touch-up, etc.)
You can also always pick up some extra hours by helping us with our marketing efforts and snapping some photos!

Open to offering generous compensation based on responsibilities. Great opportunity to earn some easy money and work in a fun and innovative startup!

This past week, we had the opportunity to exhibit at the .crpa conference in CT. It was a pleasure getting to have lively discussions with so many motivated parks professionals about improving access to on-water recreation in their parks 🛶🌊

We look forward to expanding our footprint in the northeast in the near future‼️

Last but certainly not least, is the acclaimed “Crown Jewel” of Arkansas State Parks: Petit Jean

With tons of amenities, scenic mountain views, and easy access to Lake Bailey, adding year round self-serve kayak rentals to this legendary park just made sense

Next up, Mississippi River State Park. This 550-acre hidden gem contains tons of adventure including the secluded Bear Creek and Storm Creek Lakes. Both of which now feature a Whenever Watersports rental operation!

This weekend, we’ll be featuring the rest of our new locations set up during our world wind tour of last week!

First up is the wildlife filled White Oak Lake State Park. Paddle out with your rod here, and you might just have the chance at a MONSTER White Oak Lake bass 🎣

A special thanks to the amazing Florida State Parks staff who helped this install go so smoothly. Can’t wait to get more people on the water at this beautiful location!

Incredibly happy to announce the opening of our first location at Phalen Regional Park on Lake Phalen in St. Paul, Minnesota this past Thursday. Thank you so much to everyone who helped make it happen. We look forward to serving this amazing community!
