Earlier this year, a client found me through my art displayed at a local coffee shop, and I truly believe it was God who connected us.
She reached out to me requesting a custom piece for her wellness studio! She wanted a painting that showed God's beauty in nature along with the Bible verse that became her business name. She wanted the painting to be a reminder that every day is new; and to help people feel relaxed and "revitalized".
Laura is a massage therapist with her own massage business called Revitalized: ! Her passion is to help people feel better and maintain that healthy lifestyle! She wants her patients to feel warm, happy and see God through her services and studio.
In the last picture, I included her testimony that she shared with me; I knew I had to share it with you: how God touched her life and is now shining through her! Glory be to Him alone!

A client reached out to me in May asking if I could paint a certain piece for her and her family that was close to their hearts. The reference she showed me was a simple portrait of a family with no faces; a certain style. I was hesitant. Painting portraits was not my forte. However, when she told me her story and the added addition to the painting (the main focus), I knew I had to at least try for her. The client had lost her baby a year ago. And she wanted me to add her baby to the family painting as how it would have been.
I knew this was soo personal and so dear to her heart. I felt so honored that she asked me and wanted me to paint it when she could have easily got it done by another artist through different ways. I will hold this forever close to my heart.
The baby is now with Jesus, and I wonder if he/she has met my dad. 🤍💔

Here is just a snippet of all things art that I've been working on! I've been trying to figure out how to navigate this completely flipped and different life I'm living, but one thing I realized a week ago and am soo beyond thankful to God for it, is how all my jobs are art surrounded. I'm an art teacher to elementary grades at one school, I work for an art boss painting window art and murals all over the place, painting my own custom orders for clients, and on top of that I just started teaching a small private art class locally to 3 girls! I cannot believe it!
I read a quote that goes like this: she had a choice to sulk in the disaster or find beauty even from the ashes. -S.S Jubilee
I've heard many quotes like this one over the past few months but this particular one came to me months before my dad went home to Jesus and what felt like all hell broke loose. And I couldn't understand it at all in the midst of this new and what I wanted to call 'ugly' life. But then God! He showed me that I have my dream art life; the beauty in the ashes. It's definitely not exactly what I had in mind when I thought 'dream art life'. No, it's wayy better, filled with so much more purpose and giving. And even though I may not feel it lots, I know He is carrying me, teaching me and healing me. I believe it, because I've been seeing His fingerprints everywhere and there's no way I can deny it.
Here you see pictures of painted champagne bottles (custom order), window art and murals with my art team of artists (part of my job working for my amazing art boss and her art business, and these are just a couple compared to all the window painting we've done over the months), a dog portrait (custom order for a friend), handmade birthday card and Christmas card (the couple minutes I had free during these busy busy months), and a custom order for a pastor who just retired. I have many pictures all the art from my students but that is going to be kept private for their privacy!

Art Life Lately.🍃
This is for you Tato. You always wanted me to create and create.
Currently my main priority is painting another inspirational custom order. I also can't help but be drawn, now more than ever, to create all kinds of unique and imaginative pieces; no limitations, freeing, outside the box ideas. Such ideas have been: my dad's favorite verses in gold calligraphy ink with a glass dip pen, 3D Polaroid paper art with exacto knife, self healing cutting mat and bright and vivid colored pencils, paint with palette knives to blend the colors and achieve the color needed, detailed pencil sketches for the next set of journals, a cafe sketch with deckled edge and coffee plants painted around it and spreading onto the frame, words of healing and comfort from Jesus in dimensional pearlescent paint on a random baby blue piece of cloth now pinned on my wall for me to read daily..
all the while having a million more ideas soar in my mind and soul and itching to create them all.
I feel like this deep yearning to create imaginative unique ideas is actually Jesus drawing me to spend time with Him. Being alone with Him and creating with Him, I feel, is Him healing, holding and comforting me.

The time has come to share with you the finished custom order and the meaning behind it. I can share the piece with you as you see in the pictures above, but as I tried to think of writing about the piece and the meaning behind it, I found it extremely difficult. No words came to my head; I couldn't find the right words. Losing my dad just completely out of nowhere and way too soon, has left me shocked and lost in every area of life, even something as simple as words.
All I can tell you is a story that I wrote to the client that has to do with this piece, and I pray and hope that's all that needs to be said: This painting was painted for you, but it has touched my soul in June when my dad suffered a stroke and went home to Jesus.. something i feel wasn't his time yet. Seeing your painting in my room during the past 2 months has helped me so much. At first i didn't feel anything, but with time as i kept looking at it, i felt my soul being connected to the girl in the painting. Now when i look at that piece, i am pierced by how much i understand it and how loud it speaks to me. It's very hard right now, but His timing is something I'm always blown away by.
You texted me this in may: " ...i had a feeling this would not be an easy piece for you. i just really felt like God telling me to ask you to paint this for me. Because i literally thought about it for months before i asked you and it kept coming up in my mind like just ask Anya, just ask Anya she can do this."
Now it has become clear to me why God kept putting it on your heart to ask me. because God was going to work through you to help me in my very hard time of losing the closest person in my life, my dad. And i pray and hope you see that also, of all that God did. So thank you for listening to Him.

“Remember His Promises”

I started this piece in March of 2020 and completed it in June of 2022. And it is only with Jesus Christ that I was able to complete it. He was the One who inspired me to paint it, gave me courage to do it, strength to keep going and not give up, and guidance on how to paint it.
How the painting came to be: One evening, my family and I were all gathered together reading God’s Word. At one point, my dad started saying what God laid on His heart, and it was through these words and sentences that this painting appeared in my minds eye: the soul leaps with happiness, God gives us strength, and we feel joy for eternal life in heaven with Him; we feel as though we have received wings and are soaring high!

But this doesn’t end!! We need to get up, unite, and help the mothers/women in need now more than ever!! Any way we can!
And let’s continue praying for those who are for abortion. That the Lord will soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth: those are children; human beings the world is trying to get rid of.

Just got my first review on the “Value Them” sticker! I truly value each and every review I get! And I pray and hope each time I sell a print, sticker, etc.. that God touches their heart and sparks a flame inside their souls.
I am just His Vessel.

2 people in my life right now are going through a rough storm. Seeing this painting reminds me of what they are going through and it seems like it’s a never ending storm for them, but I know Christ is carrying them. Their hope and faith is anchored in Christ. They are His faithful servants, and they have already grown and learned so much from this difficult time they are in, and I am so proud of them. They are constantly on my mind, and talking to God about them.

This painting’s purpose will be a visionary for the theme of a men’s retreat that my client will be directing this year (the theme is: “deny yourself, take up your cross and follow Me”). And what an honor it was being a part of this retreat that will point more and more men to Christ and how we are to live for Him!

Over the past few months, I’ve had so many conversations with you and it honestly has been soo encouraging! Meeting you on here, then getting to know you and having conversations of upliftment to one another and supporting one another! I am sooo beyond blessed to have a beautiful community of people! For My Ukrainian People
When my family and I found out on Thursday that Russia attacked Ukraine, our hearts shattered; we couldn’t fully focus on anything because our country, our people were on our mind 24/7.
One friend messaged me that day encouraging me to create in the midst of all this. And that’s the only thing that made sense for me to do (we couldn’t send anything to them, everything was closed including banks). So I started talking to God to give me inspiration of what He wanted me to paint for Ukraine. I got inspired within minutes and started painting that night. Yesterday, I finally finished the piece. This piece is for my country, and my people.
My heart is broken for you.

Each print I sell I will use one half to pay for the print (what it cost to order the print), and the rest to my relatives, and friends who are helping other refugees in their city.

This year, Christmas and thanksgiving came a little different to me.
Many of you may know, I have many health issues, which would weigh me down everyday. But by the Grace of God, this year I found out the root cause of it all (it’s all connected).
And once I found out, I didn’t want to wait, I started figuring out how to fix the root cause.
September, October flew and the holiday months came. Usually around these months I would get into the holiday spirit by doing all kinds of fun holiday events with my friends. But I wasn’t able to. My health journey became an everyday focus and change. It threw me off, because I wanted it to feel like Christmas and thanksgiving, but it wasn’t.
I soon realized that this was okay. That my health had to be my main priority.
I started seeing it one way: get my health back and strong and I can fully give my all to Christ and serve Him to my fullest! Because with a bunch of health issues weighing me down, I was barely able to paint a couple of hours a day.
And so I accepted how the holidays were gonna be for me this year, and continued on focusing my health.
After having my 2nd oral procedure (all connected) a week ago, I can finally say today, that I know and believe my health is only going to go up from here. And I wouldn’t change anything of how I got here.
I want to thank the Creator for getting me to the time of healing in my life. This was my time for healing. And I don’t mind anymore that it came to be during the holidays, because Jesus Christ gave me the best gift this year: my health back.

And so I wanted to share this story with you of what has been happening to me these past few months, to encourage you to let God guide your everyday. It might be uncomfortable and out of your comfort zone. But always remember this, His plan is the absolute best plan for your life. Let Him guide you.

I’m halfway done and the last half is actually most crucial part of it cause it’s the main part of this whole painting!
The black lines and phone looking silhouette in the picture is not part of the painting. I took the picture when the morning light was seeping in through my window blinds. The yellow and blue colors in the picture however is part of the painting🙈

Something I’ve been trying so hard to remember and put into action is thinking of others, helping my family in their needs, and talking with Jesus 24/7.
I want what I do and what i create with Jesus on a canvas to be portraying Him.
I encourage you to make life a little simple for yourself (if you can that is). Don’t add more things into your day when you know you already have so much to do. Instead divide them out throughout the week and everyday after you finish your daily tasks, go do something that’ll let you breathe and not make your mind run all over the place. And talk to Jesus. think of Him. And let Him speak to you and teach you. ✨

His Presence
When you’re constantly in the Presence of Jesus, worshipping Him, pouring your heart out to Him (serving others), letting Him guide you in your life, the darkness is then overcome by the light. Beauty starts to unravel all around you, and your heart overflows with His perfect love. Your soul comes to life.

Introducing..
The Arts & Crafts Collection✨
This Collection has been on my heart for about a year now. I truly believe Christ kept it on my heart this whole time because He wanted me step out in faith and do it.
I’ve always loved all kinds of arts and crafts projects, but last year as I started doing this specific craft for my wall, I felt such a pull and passion for it and automatically thought of selling them on my shop. But the enemies attacks of doubt kept coming at me; that I shouldn’t do it and that I wouldn’t be successful. But each time I made another one for my wall I felt a desire to make it for others, not just me. And this whole year it kept coming back to me. Then one day my best friend asked me to write out a verse for her so she could put it on her wall to remind herself each day. I got so excited and added some creativity and crafting to it. When she saw it, she fell in love with it, and seeing the joy on her face just made it all worth it! After that, I knew I wanted to make a collection of them and sell them in my shop.
Now, I am taking a step of faith in Christ and releasing this new collection! I trust in our Creator, that He will use this for His glory and help others in their life.

A couple weeks ago, it was one of my closest friend’s birthday, and I wanted to gift her something meaningful and from the heart. A handmade scrapbook is what came to mind! My other friend and I decided to work on it together and gift it from the both of us! We finished it up just in time and presented it to her Monday night. It’s filled with our trips and our best memories! We didn’t fill up the book, because we wanted to leave space for the future adventures we’ll go on so we can all 3 work on completing the scrapbook! I am so blessed to have such amazing friends in my life.

✨Illustrating Children’s Book #2 COMPLETE✨
I am so happy to officially announce that I have completed and handed over the illustration pages to the client! I am DONE!
Never in a million years would I have thought I would be illustrating 2 children’s books! It still hasn’t fully processed in my head! 🙈
I am beyond grateful to God for giving me this order to illustrate a book! I can confidently say that it was all Him! He was the one who connected the client with me. He was the one who guided me throughout the entire process. He was the one who gave me strength and courage to keep going and not give up no matter how hopeless I felt. He was the one who kept me patient and focused to finish it in time before my trip to Ukraine! It was all Him, the entire journey. And whatever journey I’ll be going on next, I give it all to Him once again.
Thank you to all my supporters on here! You may have thought you didn’t do much for me, but just messaging me and encouraging me to keep going and even sending a heart emoji for when I completed a page, made such a difference! God used you to help me keep going! And for that I am grateful from the bottom of my heart!

Last week I completed my first children’s book and the very next day I continued on the second children’s book🙈
This week I completed the 6th page and started the 7th page (I already painted a couple pages for the second book in January)! This book is more on the simplistic and minimalistic side so my goal is to finish it by end of March! I’m determined to finish it by then.
Setting a deadline goal for my orders have been so helpful for me. Most of them, my clients had a deadline but there were some that didn’t so I was able to put a deadline for myself.
Setting goals for your job is so beneficial and it also motivates you to keep going and have it completed. Try it out, you’ll love it.
