I think I've settled in a new artstyle? Hoping I can keep a consistent flow of this style. It's anime, cartoony and cute - all of which I take my inspiration from.

I really like Yuugi, she's strong, honest and of course, a drunkard but a fun-loving one!

A side-by-side comparision, which one do you like better? I think for me, I like the spirit mode slightly more due to it's vibrancy. However, I like how they both came out in the end. 🌺

I've been listening to a lot of WBaWC soundtrack, it's so catchy and unique. I wanted to capture the dark, aggressive theme, hence the blood-dripping spider lilies in the subdued background. Nevertheless, I will inevitably recreate a "wolf reimu" version soon enough~

Mythical Being ~ Lyra ✨
Lyra is an original character in my story from a game called Animal Crossing. 🌙

The young deer is a moon goddess inhabiting a crescent shaped pond dubbed "Crescent Pond". Rarely, the goddess grants an abundance of money trees or a spectacular meteor shower which is a phenomenal event to villagers living amongst the island. Celeste the Owl was aware with the tale or urban legend.

I drew her design on a whim actually - I was thinking on the lines of "Goddess in the Night Sky" (hence the constellations, phases of the moon and such).
(I've been playing so much AC lately, I haven't had much time to draw or share much recent artwork 😅)

I wanted to participate in an art challenge called "Six Fanarts Challenge", it was quite fun!

I tried out a recent colouring style I discovered to speed the process up. It may look fairly messy, but It saved time and having to use heaps of layers!

I'm all about colour, it's my favourite aspect of art. Thus, I took in consideration of which colour matched the character's appeal. For example, Miniwa cutesy purple bright colours and Walter White dull darker colours to go well his masculine appearance.

Perhaps, I'll consider partaking in another challenge in the future?

Touhou x Hollow Knight crossover!

Birthday gift for my Canadian friend. Since we both enjoy Touhou and Hollow Knight I thought up the concept of
Satori Komeiji crafting a flower decoration for The Knight.

I attempted to emulate the game's dark artstyle, but I think "Tim Burton, Gothic" style bounced in my head. 😅
Satori is his favourite which would kind of make sense if she were to befriend with unordinary creatures like The Knight, right? (unless they're human...)

I even tested out my white gel pen for the tiny details, so that was fun!

Someone told me this would make a sick skateboard design... Well what do you think?
This was one of my first experiments with markers, ever since then I loved the medium.
I think I was going for a more cartoony, grungy and creepy style with this one!

Frozen Dream - Reimu Hakurei speedpaint
(something I drew a while back)

Out out of all the touhou games, PCB will always remain my favourite. Besides it being my first touhou game, there's something more that I love about it - it's soundtrack, design and story. My inspiration came from Reimu's trial and finished portraits in the game, so I merged both of them and created my own take on it. It's funny, Marisa is my favourite character but I seem to draw Reimu more.
