Becoming who you are is a process of revealing, changing, and reveling in the skin you're in.

Never released photos from Shelby Perry and Suarfotos of Red Shores suspension performance 'Becoming' at Torture Garden NYC for Pride at Capitale in 2023.

The performance involved live rigging of a lotus suspension that went up in a column of scarlet satin over 20 feet in the air. The fabric dropped, revealing a figure, who proceeded to shed layers of costume to reveal another form. The performer partially cut themselves down mid-air, changing the suspension from a seated lotus to a vertical position. Coming down to earth, Red Shores danced and loved and played before again ascending and revealing long red sleeves, dancing above the heads of the crowd.

From time immemorial, people have made sacrifice for their loved ones. We wanted to show our audience the connection we feel and convey our intensity, so weaving live piercing, flesh pulls, and partner dancing seemed like the perfect fit; making our bonds stronger for the process. We performed this ritual on and , respectively, to lay our connections bare, revealing the underlying threads that bind us together and ultimately power our performance.

She can bring to light the knowledge you didn’t know you already had inside.

Live music for at by Grimoire-esque will mirror the actions of the Hermit and the Moon, as well as yours. He represents Adjustment/Justice, card XIII of the Tarot; holder of the scales, the harmony between the physical and mental planes, free will and decision making, and in the shadows: self-righteousness. His scales constantly seek balance.

Orbán is the second part of the relationship. He represents the Hermit, card IX of Tarot; the seeker of self-reflection and introspection to gain understanding, turning inwards to hone intuition, maturity, and in the shadow: bitterness. His focus organizes, and gives structure to chaos and unsureness.
