Bonjour les ami(e)s! Il semble que notre aventure tire à sa fin. Cette année à excède les attentes que j'avais pour Colomtino. Je remercie sincèrement du fond du coeur tout ceux qui m'ont encourage de près ou de loin de quelque manière que ce soit. Merci de m'avoir permis de partager avec vous ma culture et ma passion pour la cuisine🙂💚. Ce chemin que je décide de suivre nous amènera, j'en suis certain, à nous recroiser de nouveau.

Hello friends! It seems our time has come to an end. This past year has exceeded all of my expectations for Colomtino. I sincerely from the bottom of my heart thank each and everyone of you that has supported me in anyway possible from near or far. En Colombie, calentado signifie réchauffer le souper de la veille et le manger pour le déjeuner ou le petit-déjeuner tardif avec un oeuf dessus.
Habituellement, les soupers se composent de haricots, de riz, de tostones ou d'arepas, peut-être même des deux, d'une portion de viande et d'une salade fraîche.
Ceci est ma version du calentado véganisé bien sûr. Remplis de délicieux haricots rouges, de bananes plantains et de yuca, les saveurs vous emmèneront dans un voyage en colombie avec chaque bouchée! 😋

🇨🇴CALENTADO🇨🇴

In Colombia calentado means to reheat dinner from the day before and top it with an egg to eat as a late breakfast or lunch.
Usually dinners consist of red beans, rice, tostones or arepas maybe even both, a portion of meat and a fresh salad.
This is my version of a Calentado empanada veganized ofcourse filled with red beans, banana plantain and yuca.
These flavors are sure to take you on a trip to colombia and back with every bite! 😋

L'ÉRABLIÈRE

C'est bientôt la saison des cabanes à sucre et cela m'a fait penser à faire une empanada qui vous donnera toutes les délicieuses saveurs et textures sans la cruauté! 🐷🐮🐔
La garniture est faite avec un délicieux jambon végétalien fait maison recouvert d'un glaçage au sirop d'érable et à la moutarde de Dijon, des oignons caramélisés, des pommes de terre et une sauce béchamel végane!
Pas besoin d'aller trop loin pour profiter des saveurs de la saison 😉

To celebrate 1 year of I decided to release 2 new empanadas for you to enjoy!
I present you with...

THE MAPLE GROVE

Sugar shack season is right around the corner and this made me think of making an empanada that will give you all the delicious flavors and textures cruelty free!! 🐷🐮🐔
The filling is made with a delicious homemade vegan ham covered in a maple syrup and Dijon mustard glaze, caramelized onions, potatoes and a vegan bechamel sauce that brings its all together!
No need to go too far to enjoy the flavors of the season 😉

Growing up pastelitos were a big staple dessert in our house especially when my grandma would come visit. That sweet melty dulce de batata center (creamed sweet potato) was obviously the best part. Never did I think back then I would be making it myself let alone sharing it with all of you 🙂.

En grandissant, les pastelitos étaient un dessert que je mangeais souvent, en particulier quand nous recevions ma grand-mère. La gelée de patates sucrées cremeuse au centre était évidemment la meilleure partie. Je n'aurais jamais pensé que je ferais ce dessert et que j'aurais la chance de partager cette partie de ma culture avec vous 🙂.

J'y ai parfois vécu des moments stressants, mais cette expérience s'est surtout avérée être merveilleuse et enrichissante. This weekend I will take part in a pop up community marketplace! Come by and discover 10 local artisans, artists, and plant shops and help raise awareness for community mental health wellness!

Plants, rare plants, flowers, macrame, art prints, resin art, plant based organic cosmetics, children's books and ofcourse some delicious vegan sweets and empanadas!

The event takes place on Saturday October 23rd & Sunday the 24th from 10am to 6pm!
