BEING Visible to SELF
My coaching practice is for women and their beliefs from childhood on up to adulthood.
**Almost everything we learn about being human in life is placed in our physiology and neurology, usually before 5 years old.
**The body's outward appearance is an accurate reflection of what's happening on the inside.
Let's work together to discover more about becoming a better, stronger, healthier YOU! PM me and we can discuss further.
MENTAL + EMOTIONAL HEALTH
** Radically changing your diet
**Taking control of your health
**Following your intuition
**Using herbs and supplements
**Releasing suppressed emotions
**Increasing positive emotions
**Embracing social support
**Deepening your spiritual connection
**Have a strong reason for living
When you look at yourself in the mirror, what do you see? When you look at your calendar of daily scheduled events, what do you see? The world we live in today REQUIRES (doesn't ask) a lot of us.
Take a chance on yourself and PM me. Let's talk about your reflection in the mirror and that calendar. Don't you think you deserve that much towards a better and stronger YOU?

WHEN YOU'RE FEELING FUNKY.............. what do you do to get out of it? You wear Christmas socks.
This week I have been in a funk and yesterday I had two appts that I could not cancel.
First one was my monthly luncheon networking meeting. I chose to wear a dress and heels (I had to shave my legs eek) to help me with this mood. When I arrived, I was asked how I was doing. I had a noncommittal answer. No one knows how to respond when it's not, "I'm fine. How are you?"
A couple hours after the meeting was my next appt with my chiropractor. I changed into a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt. I CHOSE Christmas socks. Why? I absolutely love Christmas and this brought a smile. Even my chiropractor smiled when she saw them. That was a win, win. She too may have been having "one of those days", but the socks brought a smile.
Making the CHOICE of those socks reminded me that we do not function in this world for only ourselves. WE MUST think of others and treat them with kindness and love. Wearing those socks brought a smile to those that saw, because Christmas is the season that people tend to show more kindness and love. Why can't we make this CHOICE everyday?
In a previous post I shared about making a 1% change each day. What are you CHOOSING to change to move FORWARD towards a BETTER YOU?
HABIT CHANGE is not easy, but 1% a day in a year adds up to 365%. That can be a whole new you. An example: It can be as simple as moving your alarm (alarm on phone is what I use) across the room. You're up, DON'T hit snooze, and just keep moving. For me personally, I have no choice because of our two furbabies. THEY won't allow me to go back to bed. 😄🐾🐾
What 1% change will you make today to get closer to a better you?
Please listen to this video as to the purpose of this Beauty Shoot.
After 20+ years in the O & G industry, experiencing a life change as a result of being laid off in January 2018, I have chosen the Health and Wellness Industry. In August 2018 I received my Health / Life Coach Certification through Health Coach Institute and currently continuing my education at Mastery level. Hoping to complete between August and December 2019.
One of many passions that I have in life is being physically fit, HEALTHY. Being married almost 15 years and life experiences, I have learned that you CANNOT maintain habits as the body changes. In the last 5 years or so, I have learned how to better educate myself about my health and body changes. Life experiences of stress, menopause, eating our favorite foods (mexican for me and you can't leave out the margarita. just saying......), etc etc will eventually catch up with you. YOU have to determine when ENOUGH, is ENOUGH and take control.
Through the support of my husband, church, workout regimen, and other sources I've been able to maintain a healthier path of life, BUT always learning. Just because you reach a goal does not mean you stop. Now it's the maintenance. What does that look like?
We go through life with a belief system that we learned as a child and have carried into adulthood. As for me personally, I did not realize the impact those beliefs could have, but through my coaching training I have had to come to some realizations. It's not easy, but FREEING. Resources that I have and applied, has helped me to become a happier person (I have always considered myself happy, but hey........life can rob us of that and we don't realize). Allow me the opportunity to help you with this same discovery.
Spending an hour together, at no cost to you, going through a Discovery Session and let's explore together what a healthier, happier you can look like. I've attached my card, but you can reach me at [email protected] / 832-250-6581.
At the end of the day, you DO get to create the life you want.

Rediscover You
What I’m about to share is personal life I’ve experienced in the last 4 years.
I’ve been physically active for 30+ years (can you guess how old I am?) either with aerobics, weight training, treadmill, kickboxing, long distance cycling, and CrossFit. But it wasn’t until my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma (brain cancer) that I saw what the body can do as it is transitioning into death. Because my dad was physically fit, his body gave a good fight, until there was no more fight left. It wasn’t easy to watch my dad pass, but I was amazed how his body was reacting to the process.
Over the course of the 10+ years that I’ve been married, I had gained 30+ pounds and was slowing down with the physical activity. I just wasn’t into it anymore and I never thought that would happen. But, then my husband was introduced to the Whole 30 lifestyle way of eating and was dropping weight rapidly. The more I read, the more my mindset was preparing to take on this challenge. This meant giving up creamer for my coffee and bread (eek). But I was feeling like crap and was getting nowhere in my physical workouts. In March 2017 I chose to participate in a Whole 30 challenge and by the end of the year I had lost 35#. The first month I lost 12#. It wasn’t easy sacrificing my morning creamer and those Nutpods did nothing to pacify me. The worse part for me - cooking. I HATE cooking, but I was also on a mission. It is a huge lifestyle change, but very much worth it to feeling better/healthier.
Later in the year of 2017 I experienced an intestinal blockage that landed me in the hospital for 2-3 nights. Having a tube stuck down your nose is no joke, but it also saved me from having another abdominal surgery. Losing the weight also benefited in my recovering.
