Ring light & Filters ‼️

I have had an influx of new clients recently, and majority of them have come in with images from other aesthetics practitioners.

This is completely fine however, most if not all of the images had filters on them and a ring light was used.
Also I’d like to add before and after pictures are posted with no timeframe of these results. To me this sets unrealistic expectations if not specified.

I myself use a ring light occasionally when taking photos however 90% use the natural light in my room.

Ring lights can give the skin a smoother appearance, reduce the signs of wrinkles and pigmentation.
(Depending on the settings)

Not every practitioner uses a ring light to alter images, as most have 3 settings it can compliment the atmosphere of the room.

So with that being said this is just a reminder that not everything you see on social media is true.

Especially when it comes to skin results.

I would encourage you to ask your practitioner to look at their camera roll, the raw uncut images.

I have a whole folder of images taken of my clients at the beginning and end of their journey, from different angles in natural lighting.

When it comes to filters this industry definitely needs to ditch them ✌🏾

Water after any facial can make you dehydrated and it’s always advised you increase your intake after your treatment.

Drinking water can help you flush out toxins especially when complimented by a rhythmic facial massage.

Why is it important to stay hydrated after having the algae peel?

After the algae peel treatment, your skin may feel tight, dry, and itchy.

Since your skin’s protective barrier is temporarily compromised until the healing process is complete,
I would recommend applying a hydrating moisturiser to help alleviate the dry and itchy feeling.

Keep in mind that your skin’s layers need to peel away to reveal the new healthy skin underneath.

Be careful not to moisturise excessively as it can prevent those layers from peeling off.

To get the full benefits of the peel, you need to allow these layers to shed and peel off on their own.

It is important you drink more water to help avoid dehydration, as this may slow down the peeling process and make your skin feel even more tighter.

Erythema is the most common side effect of microneedling, but it usually subsides within 24 – 48 hours after your session.

Erythema is redness of the skin caused by injury or another inflammation causing condition.

Microneedling isn’t a painful procedure, but they can be uncomfortable.

Microneedling uses tiny needlepoints to create punctures within the dermis, doing so helps encourage the body’s collagen and elastin production.

This year has been such a difficult year for me, and when I say difficult I mean difficult.

I have faced many challenges this year that’s some of you may know about and some of you may not but I want to firstly say thank you to those who listen and shared with me.
