💚YPD SPOTLIGHT💚

Our Connectional Chair wanted to spotlight Taylor West. He is a member of the Owasso High School Competition band and the Black Caucus Chair for Young Democrats of Oklahoma. He is also the MLK Tulsa youth ambassador president, and a member of the Young People’s Department at AME Church ( 12th District ). He has completed a week of service as a page for Sen. J. J. Dossett, D-Owasso.

“ I think it is necessary as the Chair that we spotlight YPD’ers who are participating in events, historic moments, and in leadership roles outside the YPD and AME Church. I know Taylor personally and he is a great leader inside and out of the church” said Cameron Seawright.

The YPD Gazette is now accepting submissions for the August 2020 print edition. The topic for this print edition will be "The Revolution." Poems, poetry, research articles, opinion articles, or even interviews will be accepted and pictures alongside your work are encouraged. Submissions are due July 5, 2020 by 12:00AM EST. Spread the word and submit! 💚
