HAPPY EASTER, ST. ALOYSIUS FAMILY!
We are thankful for the wonderful education we received at St. A's, for our beautiful church, for our classmates, and for the entire neighborhood that surrounded us.
Congratulations to one of our graduates. Sandy Bayless Gleeson has been chosen a 2024 Women Making a Difference honoree by Notre Dame Academy. ππππ
Condolences to another St. Aloysius family. Richie Benson passed away last week. Richie went to school at St. A's in the 7th and 8th grades. His younger siblings Bobby, Carol, & Peggy (died in 1991) also attended St. A's and his older sister Betty was married at St. A's and she sang in the choir. His wife Karen Stephens also attended St. A's school. Some might also know him from the Main Street Tavern (corner of Main & 7th Streets). Prayers to all of the Benson family. God bless.
Graduation Program from class of 1930. You'll see some familiar names in there. Sorry I didn't rotate them. There are two pieces to it, the front/back covers and the inside program participants.
Another St. A alumni has passed away. Sympathy and prayers to Ron Harlow's family.
God bless the UNITED States of America.
Sending condolences to the family and friends of John Goeke who passed away earlier this month. Some of us will remember him as Father Goeke who was an assistant at St. Aloysius during the 1960s. God bless, rest in peace.
HAPPY EASTER, St. Aloysius students and parishioners.
Many of you mentioned Sister Paul Marion in a previous post. Sadly, this one is about her. God bless her and keep her. Click link below for details.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! πWe had, at least, two nuns from Ireland, Sister Mary Patrice who taught 4th grade and Sister John Margaret who taught 2nd grade.
Our condolences go out to the Fangman family. Millie Fangman passed away earlier this week. Her husband Skip was the choir director who directed the St. Aloysius children's choir during the Christmas season around 1966. He also lead an adult choir which included many members of St. Aloysius. This choir also sang at Masses at St. Pat's. Millie was a member of the adult choir. Rest in peace, Millie.
Another St. Aloysius alum has passed away. Please pray for the family of Roger Rolfes who died this past week. May he rest in peace. God bless.
Merry Christmas, Saint Aloysius Family! Peace and love to you and your loved ones today and throughout the new year.

Cincinnati Enquirer
Is anyone else angry & frustrated with their print edition?
The print is smaller, the ink lighter, less pages , repeated cost increases, and now they are discontinuing Saturday print & delivery.
Since The Post closed, Enquirer does what they want whenever they want it.
I want to read the daily news, but I donβt want to read in online on my iPhone.
Are they going to lower the cost of my subscription because I have to use my phone or my electricity if I use my computer?
So much for customer loyalty.
MERRY CHRISTMAS,ALL!
At one time, St. Aloysius had a school band. Did you play in it?
We always said this prayer before lunch time. Most of us probably still say it before meals, but it is appropriate at any time.
Bless us, oh Lord, and these thy gifts which are about to receive from thy bounty. We thank Thee, oh Lord, for these and all thy blessings through Christ our Lord. Amen. Happy Thanksgiving!
We grieve, we remember, we pray, we must unite. At least two St. Aloysius families lost a loved one in the Sept. 11 terrorist attach. They will not be named for their privacy, but we will keep them in our prayers.
