Hey guys. It’s been a while! 😳

Life has thrown us a curveball and we are just trying to get by atm.

For those not following our story Here’s a short Update:

My son had to be delivered Way to early by emergancy c-section. He was only 25 weeks Old.
It’s been over two months & We’re still in the ICU where Lukas is still on lifesupport, fighting like crazy.
We’ve been very close to loosing him, and we’re still not out of the Woods yet.

Not gonna Lie. It’s brutal…
We miss the dogs like crazy. We miss our friends & life outside this hospital.

I hope to return to mushing, SoMe and life with the dogs soon.
But right now, the ONLY thing That really matters, is That Lukas is still alive & fighting.

Koda & Pippin are doing very Well & are in fostercare with good friends ❤️🙏

Pippin is turning 2 years Old today, and I’m very sad That i’m missing his first birthday with us. 😭

But his baby brother just needs us more right now.
And i know he Will be getting lots of extra kisses and snuggles from his auntie today ❤️

Can’t wait to come Home & bring our little family back together 🥹🤞❤️

Personal Update. ❤️‍🩹

We are going to be off the next few months ahead.

Long story short: sunday Night i had an emergancy c-section & had out son, 3 & a Half months to early.

He’s fighting like hell & so are we, so our energy is 100% with our son.

Luckily, we have some amazing friends who has taken the dogs in as their own for a while, and we are so grateful 😭🩵

We Can really use a lot of prayers on this one guys. 🙏

Summer has hit Denmark like a ton of bricks and It’s waay to hot outside for Bike- & Scooter training these days. 🥵

So we keep the form & have fun in other ways 😂
We need to work on Pippins starts & his focus, so we’re having fun with That this summer.

The dogs are very different, and what i usually do with Koda during the summer, is not the Way to go with Pip.

Koda and i do a lot of water fun & k9 biathlon training, but Pippin isn’t comfortable with those things at all, and i’m not forcing my dog to do things just because i Think it’s fun. And i wanna keep Pip focused on drag sports.

I really miss the trails already, but it’s actually also kinda Nice That my preggo behind is running the training again 🤣

Amazing Update 🥹

We just Got the results from the lab & Pippins tumor WAS NOT CANCER 🎉🎉🎉🎉

It wasn’t Exactly a lipoma either, but it’s Definitly benign 🥹🥲

I’m so freakin’ releaved & Pippin has fully healed & Got his stiches out today.

I’m hugging my furries a little extra today🥹

And. I just just have to say… The support, prayers, DM’s, comments and everything That i have gotten from you guys is absolutely amazing ! THANK YOU ! 🥹

Pippin had a small tumor removed this morning, so the dogs are kept 100% calm the next couple of days.

We sent it in to pathology so now we are just Crossing everything we’ve Got, That it’s benign. 🤞🤞

Pippin had a blast today 😂

It was the last race of the season at (The Danish sleddogs Federation) & as i’m not allowed to race, Pippin entered the race with 💪❤️

There are very few people i trust with my dogs, and even fewer i would let Them Enter a race with.
So we’re lucky to have a good friend who is also a great musher AND that the dogs love 😍

Oh, and they actually ended up 3’rd 💪🥉

Did you know i went to Germany to Pick this hunk up?

The Sleddog sports is still a growing sport in Denmark and isn’t no Way near on the scale That the rest of Europe, scandinavia & Alaska is compeeting on. (Even though we are really working on it)😅

That also mean That Eurohounds aren’t really recognized as a propper breed DK 😭
So Pippins pedigree isn’t acknowlegded in Denmark.

It doesn’t really have any important impact for us, as “purebreds” aren’t a requirement in my sport.
BUT ! It could be Nice in the future if Anyone wanted to do breeding, do shows or other sports That required a Danish Acknowlegded pedigree 💪

“Is Koda just out of the game since Pippin has arrived?”

ABSOLUTELY NOT 💪😅

Koda is still getting her training & attention as usual.

But while Pippin is Young, healthy & solely beeing trained for Racing & compeeting, Koda is no longer able (nor willing) to compete.

She enjoys biketraining, hiking, watersports og K9 biathlon training, as always, but at a much more “senior” level.

Her Metabolism issues is simply draining her to much to be able to compete in races.

But She hasn’t lost her fire completly. Look at That Happy face 🥹🔥
