On behalf of Gwendolyn, Wanda and myself, we are pleased to announce that The 2024 Carol Sutton Memorial Grant will be going to "Bridge in the Distance" by Clarence Holmes, Jr. to support a production of this play to be directed by Lance Nichols next year. Congratulations!

A small portion of the Grant money shall also be going to The NOLA Project for its upcoming production of George C. Wolfe's "The Colored Museum" at the New Orleans African American Museum to help defray costs incurred by having to find a new venue for the run of this classic American play that is too seldom produced.

We had thirteen submissions for the Grant and the final choice was a difficult one. We want to thank all who sent applications to us.

Congratulations again to Clarence, Lance, and The NOLA Project! We look forward to seeing "Bridge in the Distance" and "The Colored Museum" and encourage you to attend these productions as well!!
