Our theme of the day is "Pamoja Tukatae Kutumika".

Talanta Souls Likoni Social Justice Centre theatre team, got chance to attend and perform during the 1st June 2022 Madaraka Day, to commemorate the day that Kenya attained internal self rule in 1963. The day was well spent and we also learnt several historical issues that one couldn't accept to leave such a life.
"Better to die fighting for freedom than be a prisoner all the days of your life".
Yesterday Talanta Souls Organisation conducted a clean up exercise at Likoni Police Station. The exercise aimed at promoting environmental health awareness and also bridge the gap between the law enforcement agents and the community. Inspector Issac, Inspector Maxwel Odour and Sergent Riziki congratulated the members for their efforts and determination towards serving the community.
Yesterday we had a privilege to meet Mr. at offices in Kombani Kwale County with a mission of equiping our Organisation projects to standards. Whereby the discussion also centred on the importance of enghlighting Youths who are our most target group and the community on roles and responsibilities of bringing a positive change to ensure peace is prevailed.
Our Campaign headed to Mwembengoma village likoni with most of teens, youths and parents attended and mostly here the target group is affected by indulging in drug use, joining criminal gang groups, early marriges and pregnancies e.t.c.
As an organisation, we felt to organise and conduct an edutainment Skit with the effects of not going to school and results of dropping out of school. Also we discussed gaps in our community that leads to increment of insecurity cases and how to curb this. This was done with the aim of reducing the increment of numbers of youths in crime and addition of gang groups in the area and likoni as a whole.
