Let me Summarize the last year together.
โ ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ๐๐ญ - This is a continuous Work In Progress but she keeps chipping away at all the Mindset Monsters (don't eat carbs, do a detox, eat 800 calories, I already blew it so F*** It all, drink shakes, can't eat this/that, etc)
โช ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ๐๐ญ is one of the most important if not THE most important piece of your weight loss Journey.
โ ๐๐๐ญ ๐๐๐๐ ๐
๐จ๐จ๐ - YES! This is the truth. We have been slowly INCREASING how much food she eats daily! Many days she would tell me "I'm not even hungry!" But she put in the work - and her body LOVED. THE. FOOD.
โช It 'doesn't make sense' right?! To eat MORE food when I want to LOSE weight?! It does when you have been yo-yo dieting for years on end and your body has adapted to ALL your 'weight loss tricks'!
โ ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐๐๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ญ๐๐ฌ - She has made extra efforts to create P-2-1 plates to fuel her body! She didn't just eat food because it was 'healthy' - she ate food because it was balanced and what her body NEEDS!
โช ๐-๐-๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ญ๐๐ฌ focus on Protein, Vegetable/Fruit, Carb & Healthy Fat.
โ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ ๐๐ข๐๐! Nothing about her Journey restricted her from Celebrations, Holidays, Summer Vacation, Weekend Camping Trips, Covid, a Month Long River Stay, etc.
โชIf your weight loss plan restricts you from doing ๐๐๐. ๐๐ก๐. ๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ....It will never last 1 year long.

Start by setting some new Boundaries ( #2) with your groceries!
**Rule #1**
โ๏ธAll items in your kitchen should have an ingredient list of 15 items or less.
โ No - I don't care that it's low calorie
โ No - I don't care that it's low carb
โ Fat Free - Don't care.
โ 'Healthy' - What does that even mean
โ๏ธ Check the Ingredients List
Go check out your kitchen - turn some things over and take a look! Laundry list of ingredients = don't buy it again! Instead, find a cleaner substitute.
โจโจ In the most beautiful world - our WHOLE kitchen would have no ingredients and be all WHOLE FOOD.
But.
For some that's just not realistic. โจโจ
Try implementing this as you work towards creating a plan for your Weight Loss Journy!

In a perfect world,
we would have fresh, whole food at every single meal.
Home grown gardens
Free range meat
and time โณ .
Time to prepare these fresh, whole food meals.
But.
Let's be realistic.
Our world is much too fast paced for All. That. ๐
๐๐ก๐๐ญ ๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐
#1 - Prioritize whole food as often as you can! ๐ ๐/๐๐
#2 - Clean up your kitchen and eat healthier options when time is an issue and you need the next best thing!
#3 - Always have clean, staple foods in your freezer/pantry/frig for Those. Days. We all have them!
#4 - Stop buying items based on how many calories they have, or if they are fat free, or if they have low carbs! This is NOT what is going to help you with weightloss.
#5 - Start buying items that have 15 ingredients or LESS listed and make sure you can read the words in the ingredients label. If there is a laundry list of ingredients, or more than 15, don't buy it. Find a different brand that is much cleaner.
Itโs your choice.
To feel the same way that you do now.
Or.
To actually do something to change that!

Yes I have a great excuse!
Yes I have been sitting A Lot throughout the day.
Yes fast food is easier after a long day at the hospital.
Yes living in a hotel by yourself kind of sucks!
But I donโt let these ๐ be my excuse.
I stopped at target and got the bare essentials to throw together a healthier meal.
I got up and walked on the treadmill, while drinking my coffee โ๏ธ, for about 30 minutes, to get steps in before I got here!
Every time I get up to go the bathroom I take a few laps around his floor.
I have my water bottle full and 2 more bottles in my backpack.
People arenโt in shape or live a healthy life because itโs easier for you vs me.
Itโs a choice.
Itโs a commitment to not give in to whatโs easy.
Always.
No matter what life throws at ya!
Donโt make it complicated.
This is literally
- a box of lettuce
- a container of raspberries
- a container of blueberries ๐ซ
- a package of turkey breast
- Italian dressing.

Nothing needs heated. I have an ice chest. And bought a bowl at target ๐ฏ

Is your training supporting your body goals!?
I did CrossFit for many years, 6 or so, RXed, Competed, Coached...I loved it.
But.
What I didnโt know, was that CrossFit Training wasnโt giving me the body image I was trying to create.
Who knew!? ๐คทโโ๏ธ
I used to throw 200+ pounds on the barbell and loved back squat days! My husband used to say my quads felt like there was a bowling ๐ณ ball in them ๐โฅ๏ธ
Now.
My barbell has less then half the weight, thereโs tempo, pauses, heels elevated...all things new to me for this style of training!
Itโs amazing what kind of changes you can make to your body when all the pieces are put together correctly!
Fueling my body with All.The.Food. Training to create the changes I have been chasing for years!
And building a b***y along the way ๐คฃ๐ ๐
