Transformed this old desk into valuable space for the garage. It now gives organized storage for my array of air guns, screw guns, charges, and their supplies/parts. Additionally it provides sound proofing for the compressor, and now has a retractable airline.

THAT'S RECYCLING!

Just finished restoring my corner street lighthouse (built in August 2021). The neighbors were happy to see it go back up as it unintentionally became a landmark in the community.

Just finished installing this cool desk (made primarily from pallet wood) that matches the decor of the kitchen. It has two electrical/usb outlet ports built into the countertop, and a really cool keyless hidden drawer that falls down from the bottom. The drawer is long enough to hold items 50" long, and pulls out as well for easier access.

Over the last two weeks, I was able to complete two projects with two loads of pallets.
The first was a fairly standard 44x22x30 raised flower bed with wheels for a repeat customer.
The other, two 7+' narrow beds for my own garden area. I experimented a bit with these and rather than putting the legs on the inside, they are on the outside, leaving more room for future plants.

My three year raised flower beds are doing well this year. Already have peppers and tomatoes on the vines. The green beans, peas, zucchini, and squash aren't far behind. Need to more beds for lettuce, cucumbers, and perhaps spinach.

Here's a unique way to cover those unsightly well pipes sticking out from the ground that looks really cool too!
Made from 100% pallet wood and exterior paint.

When most people look at a pallet they see firewood. Not me. Tuesday morning started with 4 large pallets. Thursday afternoon, this is the results.

Finally got the Holiday Tree set up for Valentines.

Here's a great christmas ornament for those with little space. They are primarily constructed from reconditioned pallet wood (and on occasion remnants of it's previous use can be found). These two piece units are packaged flat, and can be assembled and erected in just a few minutes, then returned back to flat for storage.

A great gift for dorms, office desk, or even center pieces. Only $35.00 plus shipping via Marketplace, or save the shipping with pick up.

Here's an example of how the Holiday Trees that I will be selling soon is a "HaloTree". Stay tuned if your interested.

For those of you that have been waiting, here's the progress on the holiday trees. This display is four feet tall. It still needs the edges rounded and painted. The cost is $250. I have some six footers as well, which cos $300, as well as one eight footer at $350.

Took a little break from creating holiday trees to make this 12", golden oak stained, squared shadow box with dividers for a special order.
This was the first time I created and used box joints to make a frame, and must admit it makes squaring off the box so much easier, and gives a strong attractive finished appearance.
Decrotive brass hinges and locking mechanism permits the backing to swing open for easy inside accessibility, and hangers complete the project allowing the box to sit on a surface or hang on the wall.

So a quick seek peek of what is is the process for this fall and Christmas season. Yes, 4',6', and even 8'.

Back by popular demand, I am once again offering two sizes of these double raised gardens. Constructed primarily from reclaimed pallet wood, these boxes are strong, and offer a rustic look. Additionally, they are sold pre-assembled and are already lined on the inside with heavy duty w**d protector. Prefect for those with limited space.
Presently there are five smaller boxes (with an outside dimension of 36Lx23Wxx29H and planter dimension of 32Lx20Wx12H) available for sale at $65.00 each. As well as four larger boxes (with an outside dimension of 45Lx22.75Wx30H, and planter dimension of 41Lx20Wxx12H) for sale at $75.00 each. Prices are firm.
Unfortunately, I have a limited time to schedule pick up, either early mornings or all day Sunday and Monday (no delivery or shipping is available).
These boxes sell fast and are limited to quality on hand.

A project I just completed, outside my normal routine, is the refinishing of these two dressers that were left at the curb for disposal. Unfortunately, I didn't get before photos until after I sanded the outside. With a lot more sanding, some creative cutting (to include changing one of the bases), staining/polyurethaning, and new drawer handles.
Next, I put a mirror (my daughter left in the garage) in a modified 2x4 frame, placed it on a 2x6 base, and stained/polyurethaned that.
WOLA. A matching all wood dresser set worth no less than $600..

My intention for the spring season was to create items for the yard (out of pallets) and display/sell them at our community yard sale. While I didnt sell any at the yard sale, I was able to get a great deal of free publicity. The first item I would like to share is what I refer to as rustic double raised flower bed. I have five of these ready for sale at $50.00 each (pick up only). For further information please refer to the captions on each picture.

My next completed project was this beautiful personal prayer stand for a neighbor. Again, it was not made from pallet wood (with the exception of the oak top), rather I repurposed some cut offs of 5/8" fine sanded plywood given to me from another neighbor (getting to be known as the "wood guy"). Unlike those seen online I ensured that assembly hardware could only be seen at a minimum, I put extra supports on the fold down kneeler with a three inch cushion), added a slid out storage tray, and added a pen slot on the top to keep books from sliding off (and of course hold pens and such).

I know it's been some time since I've added a post, but be reassured I've been creating. Here is a special order for an extended step stool which will be used for a cat to be able to climb into a high bed.
Unlike my traditional use of pallet wood, I used reclaimed 3/8" luan boards with a white laminate on top which I got from a neighbor who was doing a show clean out.

My next project was an order for a replica of the Mount Dora Lighthouse located in St Petersburg, FL.
Starting from the bottom, this eight and a half foot tower has a two inch by forty-eight inch round cement foundation that weighs one hundred sixty pounds. Secured to the foundation is the base of the lighthouse which consist of six layers of 48" rounded 2x4's creatively cut and painted a brick red color to resemble the brick base. Next is the six foot red and white tower centered on the base. This piece is made from forty two pieces of wood strips which are cut and angled to produce an inverted cone shape with a 36" radius on the bottom and 24" radius on the top. Additionally, three unseen solid 2x4 rings are placed at different heights inside the cone to provide support and aid in keeping the desired shape. Resting on top of the cone is a solid 30" hexagon shaped 2x4 black platform which creates the observation deck. The outside perimeter is completed with black doweled railings. From the center of the deck rises the eighteen inch (squared) white hexagon shaped lantern room with large frosted windows, and finished with a black cupola.
Inside the lantern room are two solar powered solid lights that are set to turn on a dusk, and depending upon charge remain lit for most of the night hours. The solar panel for these lights is cut into the observation deck and for the most part can not be seen from ground level. Finally, the finishing touch consist of twelve muti-colored solar powered chair rail lighting was added to both the observation deck and base for additional lightning.

I just wanted to thank all those who helped make this year a success. Attached is a recap of all the creations completed this year. More importantly, I want to take this time and wish everyone a Happy New Year.

Being from New England, my family shares admiration in the symbolism of the lighthouse. So it was only fitting that while deciding what to make for them this Christmas I should continue with my present obsession of lighthouses.
My final project of 2021 is these unique "welcome door hanger". I made a total of 15 of them as Christmas gifts for family, friends, and neighbors, however, I am only displaying a couple of them in this post as the others were personalized.
The wooden portion of each sign was constructed out of various pallet planks, with the front painted in a light blue color. Various vynal decals were added to create the perimeters. Finally, a multi-layered vynal lighthouse and phrase was added. The phrase says:
"The light is what guides you home. The warmth is what keeps you there."
A touching phrase that reminds me that even as we get overwhelmed by our daily task and routines, we can always look for light that brings us back to the ones we love.

I saw this awesome looking Christmas tree in a video on Facebook, and I set my mind on making my own version of it.
Starting with random pallet runner 2x4 pieces; I cut, planned, drilled, and created over one hundred twenty four pieces of minimum length 16", 1 1/2"× 5/8" slats (used for risers), four 16"x 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" square rods (used for footing or tree stand), and two 5"x 5" x 1 1/2" planking (used for the star cut out). Then with a purchased four foot 3/4" wooden rod, I assembled two of these three and a half spiral trees.
Completing the project by weather proofing the wood and adding decor, I now proudly added these beautiful and unique trees to my present outside Christmas decor.
What I really like about these trees is how easily they break down and lie flat for storage. The overall project dimensions are 16" × 1-1/2" × 43", and only weigh
11 lbs.
I'm sure you'll see more of this project for sale next season. Perhaps even larger.

My second Elfin project this Christmas season was made with the assistance of my son-in-law for his mother.
This six foot lighthouse was created to resemble the Cape Hattiers Lighthouse in South Carolina. It's weather treated maroon colored base with tan bricks and edging, black and white stripped trunk, black decks, rails, under supports, and rotating solar powered light structure make this particular lighthouse an item to be admired both day and night.
With the exception of the patio brick (mounted to the fixture and used as a weight), railings, small round balls, as well as the actual lighthouse fixture, the remainder of the lighthouse was created using reclaimed pallet wood.
A duplicate of this lighthouse had to place on hold to complete other projects in time for Christmas, but is expected to be completed soon. it is presently all raw wood (not colored). With the detail involved this fixture is expected to sell for no less than $400.00. If interested, please inquire threw this post.
As always, if you like what you see please "like, comment, and share".

Feeling like an elf just before Christmas, this is the first of three projects I have been working on over the last six weeks for Christmas.
Shortly after seeing the rocking horse that I made for my grandson in August, a customer "special ordered" (specifying coloring) this for her granddaughter as a Christmas gift.
With the exception of purchased dowels and balls, the remaining wooden pieces for this project came from repurposed pallets.
If you agree that this is a beautiful piece of art, please feel free to "like, comment" or more importantly "share" this post.
