We found this cat in our backyard on Belle Woods Drive. She was starving, had tapeworms and was not chipped. After posting everywhere, with no responses, we took her in and now she is ours. Her name is Bitzy.
She went from 4 pounds to now 9, in 6 months. She was so small I thought she was a kitten, but the vet says (from eyes and teeth) she is six years old.
I wish the people who lost her knew she is healthy and happy now!
Happiness comes from living somewhere you love, being around respected neighbors and enjoying each day.

The garbage collection process for Tampa Palms residents and any who are serviced by Waste Connections (the failed bidder for ongoing garbage collection) has deteriorated to completely unacceptable levels.
Commissioner Hagan’s legislative aide advised Tampa Palms that Bonnie Wise (County Administrator) notified the BOCC Monday night that the County is taking steps to both alleviate the situation and seek legal remedies.
Commencing as early as next week additional out-of-town manpower and equipment is expected to arrive and these teams will be assigned to return Tampa Palms (and others) to a reliable garbage collection schedule.
