UPDATE: Billyroo came through surgery and is fine. His bulging eye was missing the lens and infected, so there was no tumor! He is blind since the other eye is covered with a significant cataract. With Emma Helen, Scooter, Charley Brown, Chichi Marie, Amelia, and now Billyroo, we have six blind residents and a few others with some visual impairment. It is amazing how resilient these dogs are. Thank you all for keeping Billyroo in your thoughts and prayers today.

We welcome little 4 # Billyroo to our sanctuary. He was initially rescued by our friends from another rescue, Tigger Town. They asked if we could help since he is an older gentleman. His blood work is good, and he is scheduled to have that bulging eye removed tomorrow. Eye pressure was normal. Suspect it may be a tumor pushing on the eye. Please keep this gentle little soul in your prayers for a successful surgery.

We had to help our precious, big, sweet Faith cross over the bridge this past Saturday. Her arthritis had become so painful that it was better for her. We loved this gentle girl so much and will miss her so much. You are running free of pain with your sisters Dolly and Reba. Until we meet again, you are running in our hearts.

LB Squeakins Happy Halloween 🎃

This precious little Yorkie has been with Paw-ways Loved for about 3 weeks now. She is a fiesty 11 years young, and you would never know she is blind. She came with the name Chi Chi, and we added Marie. Chi Chi Marie is a smart girl, and we officially welcome her to our sanctuary family.
