Field Day Fun! Mrs. Culpepper’s homeroom won tug-of-war, but a student from Mrs. Jones’s homeroom won the 50 yard dash!

What a fun Friday! Mrs. Jones’ Homeroom got to go outside and read, and both classes worked with a partner to peer edit our argument essays!

State testing season is here! We are so excited for our students to show out and shine on all they have learned this year! Below is the PES testing calendar. Please mark the dates on your calendar. We need all students here on testing days. If students miss a test, there is a possibility they will have to make up during one of their fun events the last week of school. We want them to enjoy their last week so please encourage them to be here. Thank you for all your support!

Carnival fun!

Kilah Evans was nominated for The Be The I In Kind. Thursday morning before classes got started I was moving books from the library to Mrs. Parker's classroom. I grabbed the books and dropped all of them by the library door. It was all over the place. Kilah greeted me with a smile and was kind enough to stop what she was doing while on her way to class to help me pick up the books. This act of kindness made my morning and day! - Miss. Rivers

Mrs. Culpepper’s Homeroom Valentine Party❤️❤️❤️

When a student had an injury and had to be on crutches, Mrs. Culpepper's ENTIRE class stepped up to help! Everyone has volunteered to carry supplies, lunch, backpacks, and more. This class has shown what is means to be a coffee bean and to be a good friend to others.

Attention 3rd Grade Parents: Please see the following flyer regarding the 3rd Grade State Reading Assessment. PES will take our Reading Assessment on Tuesday, April 19. The first retake is May 11 and the second retake is June 21. If you have any questions concerning your child's performance and projections for the assessment, please contact your child's teacher or our office.
