I am SO excited to bring you something brand new in our Dottie world! For a long time, I have wanted to offer more of an “everyday day” runner which is easier to transport, and even more light weight for strolling the parks as well as dashing across race lines!
Well, the time is now, and here we are! Introducing our NEW Dottie options! These skirts are based on vintage cheerleading skirts, and are made out of a super lightweight spandex. Plus! No tulle! Which means more options for you to pair underneath your skirt! Also, with less fabric layers than our classic styles, they are even easier to travel with!

Summer is here, and that means family time!

You may or may not know that Dottie for Running is a small business with a handful of employees. Our sewers are all based in the US! Everyone is taking the week off for some much needed time to recoup before the busy season begins. Orders that are placed during this next week, as well as any customer service emails, will see a slower shipping/response time this week.

Meet Ariel! She has been an ambassador since 2022!

“I originally got started with rundisney when attending a race expo for my dad! I was in high school and he told me if I trained I could run the Walt Disney Marathon (he knew me so well and knew I wouldn’t train 🙃) so it took a few more years and me being in college to finally sign up! In 2015 I got to participate in my first rundisney race weekend, PRINCESS half! With my mom and sister we all ran the glass slipper challenge (what it was called at the time!) and haven’t looked back!”

Her favorite thing about these races are the friendships she has gained, with the self confidence and belief.

In her spare time she is learning mom life! They just welcomed a little prince in October, yes he already got to go to disney at 10 weeks old and most minutes are spent with him and her husband!

“My favorite Dottie skirt the one that started it all! My Marie one, although each one holds a special place in my heart!”

Her favorite rundisney memory is “yikes this is hard! Probably crossing the Disneyland half marathon finish line with my bestie in our buttbows and my parents sister and baby boy being at the finish line for me!”
