In the daily exchanges between family + friends, expressing creativity, drinking coffee, listening to music and moving your body, a home cooked meal, your daily commute. Because although they are simple, little things - these simple little things make up the majority of our lives and are truly simple but glorious pleasures of life π€
Hope.
If you only carry one thing throughout your life, let it be hope. Let it be hope that better things are always ahead. Let it be hope that you can get through even the toughest of times. Let it be hope that you are stronger than any challenge that comes your way. Let it be hope that you are exactly where you are meant to be right now, and that you are on the path to where you are destined forβ¦because during these times, hope will be the very thing that will carry you through π€
Monday motivation β¨
Itβs all about mindset yβall!
Going through tough patches in life is totally normal. I know, cuz Iβm IN it right now. But if we have the right attitude, focus on what we can be grateful for and keep our mindset on the positive it can make a world of a difference. Donβt give up when life gets tough friends, YOU CAN AND WILL GET THROUGH IT π€
Real talk: right now Iβm kinda going through it. Our AC keeps freezing up, our washer/dryer unit wonβt dry, and we came home late last night to water coming in through our living room ceiling from the condo above us. In addition, my grandfather is on hospice care and more than anything right now I just want to be with family. At my current 9-5 we are short staffed so thereβs not much wiggle room for me to take the week off to handle everything thatβs going on π€¦πΌββοΈ
But Iβm still looking at the current situation with gratitude - gratitude that we have a home to live in, gratitude for my family, and gratitude that I have found an amazing opportunity and am working towards a life of freedom from being chained to a 9-5. That just gives me even more motivation to continue pursing my goals - itβs only a matter of time before we are living the life we dream of β¨
Spent my weekend away from social media + relaxing at home with my family.
I find itβs super beneficial to just detach sometimes from the busyness of day to day life (including the internet)and just allow myself to be present. We will never get this day, this moment in time back so letβs be intentional with our time, even if that means detaching once in a while!
I will never stop talking about gratitude, y'all.

Remember when I talked about consistency? Well consistency takes discipline. And while motivation and mindset are important keys, self-discipline will take you further and reap the greatest rewards in the long run.
For me the word discipline has always had a negative connotation to it but I'm shifting my perspective to realize that discipline is one of our greatest tools in achieving long-lasting success!
So be consistent in doing the things that will help you achieve your goals, even if they are uncomfortable or you don't enjoy them - because these will be the things that get you to where you want to be next month, next year and in the future!
Vacations are fun and all but have you ever tried building a life that you don't need a vacation from?
This is the type of life I'm working on creating π
A life with a work/life balance that is actually BALANCED. A life where there's no PTO requests or clocking in or out. A life of freedom and flexibility. A life that I get to ENJOY NOW, not just some day when I retire.
Where are you focusing your energy + time?
Instead of wasting precious time worrying about what we cannot control, let's shift our energy to what we do in fact have control over.
Focus on your strengths, not your weaknesses. Focus on your character, not your reputation. Focus on your blessings, not your misfortunes.
Anyone else struggle with insomnia? π΄
It can be a struggle to resist reaching for the phone when winding down for the evening but time and time again I've found that this habit only leads me down a rabbit hole of scrolling through social media no closer to sleep and often more anxious and restless than before.
My go-to now when I'm having trouble sleeping is to grab a personal development read or my bible and a journal π I have found that not only are reading and journaling a powerful tool in personal growth but it tends to calm me down so that I can easily rest - or invigorates me and I end up spending a few quiet hours deep in study - but its never time wasted.
Part of my "training" for my new business emphasizes personal development and mindset work and I find incorporating this kind of thing as part of a "must do" each day - whether its a few minutes here and there throughout or at night before sleep - helps me realign and remember that while I'm building my business, I'm building myself too. And that time is never wasted.
Work on you, for you.
Taking care of yourself IS productive, because you are your greatest project. You are so, so worth it. So do it for you, you'll be glad you did!
Take a step back today & look at all the beautiful things you have to be grateful for π€
Even on days when I feel like I haven't been as productive as I would like, or haven't had a great attitude or things just didn't go my way - I find that ending my day with gratitude can be just as therapeutic as starting my day with the practice. Reflecting on all the beautiful things around me and all that I have been blessed with help me shift my perspective and ease my mind into rest.
Patience, consistency, and self-belief are 3 π ingredients to make your goals a reality.
So be positive, patient and persistent in pursuing the life you desire, so that one day that dream will be your reality.
Four day weekends should be every weekend, am I Right? πββοΈ
Today was a holiday for my daughter's pre-k, which meant that I had to take the day off work to stay home with her. We spent the day painting, exploring and playing at the playground.
I mean not going to complain about a four day work week but... a whole 8.5 hours less on my next paycheck, that's a real bummer when you live paycheck to paycheck.
I so am filled with motivation and hope though,
knowing that this business is one day going to allow me to financially provide for my family without sacrificing my time (aka NO MORE HOURLY WAGE, thank you) I can work my business for home or literally wherever I so please and if I need to take the day off to take care of my child, am sick, etc I can do so stress-free.
I can't wait to have more days like this πΈ
Just your daily reminder that your get what you focus on π
Your life follows where your mind repeatedly goes, so let's make sure our thoughts are in line with positive things like gratefulness or our goals rather than our past failures or disappointments.
Sundays are for family time β€
I used to dread Sundays. Seriously, like loathe them with everything in me. Because Sundays mean prep for the week. I would prep meals, clothes, ect just so that the upcoming week could go by..more smoothly.
Now, there is absolutely nothing wrong with prepping yourself to have a successful week, but does it have to be so rigid and stressful that if Sunday doesn't "go as planned" the rest of the week is doomed? I think not. What is the point of ruining a whole Sunday with anxiety about what is to come the next 5 days?!
I've heard the quote so many times before but let me just remind myself here: "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again." So I'm making a conscious effort to be more present, enjoy the family time I get on Sundays and focus on the gift of this day rather than waste it stressing about Monday. One of the amazing things about this business is that because it is all automated, and fully online I will one day get to work from home and those Sunday Scaries will be a thing of the past!

This past July, we took a 2 + 1/2 week vacation to New England to visit family. And let me tell you, it was MUCH needed time away. We feel so incredibly blessed that we had this opportunity to experience so many things as a family that trip, and so many firsts for my girl - including a visit to Nantucket Island (its simply magical, by the way).This was the first time in a LONG time that I felt completely present and relaxed - not anxious about money, worrying about work or things that need to be done at home. This time we shared was filled more joy that I can express and I will remember it for a lifetime.
Still, once we got home it was back to the same. old. cycle: WORK, EAT, SLEEP, REPEAT.
Is that all we have to live for?! A sweet vacation every once in a blue moon? I don't think so.
I BELIEVE THAT WE ARE CREATED FOR SO MUCH MORE. That we can have a life of freedom, joy and abundance. That we can live a life with intention and purpose, while being present and enjoying every little moment as the gift that it is. That waking up every single day with the same joy as if youβre on vacation is actually an attainable, real possibility.
So thatβs what Iβm doing. Working towards a life of balance + flexibility, one of joy thatβs overflowing. π€
Change.
Change can be scary, to say the least.
But real talk - we simply cannot grow if we do not ever leave our comfort zones. We cannot become what we want, by remaining where we are.
