Being a blood donor kay parehas rana siya as a life saver.
Blood is the most precious gift that anyone can give to another person the gift of life. Ang imung decision to donate blood makatabang na siya sa mga taw with specific needs ma separated na siya into its components red cells, platelets and plasma which can be used individually for patients with specific conditions.

Blood is needed by women with complications during pregnancy and childbirth, children with severe anaemia, often resulting from malaria or malnutrition, accident victims and surgical and cancer patients.

Constant na siya na need ug supply sa blood kay ma store na siya sa limited period of time before use. Regular blood donation by a sufficient number of healthy people is needed to ensure that blood will always be available whenever and wherever it is needed.

Ako sad naka experience lisod jud pangita blood donor para sa akong lolo who is diagnosed with leukemia struggle jud siya to find blood donor nga compatible sa akoang tatay. In my experience, it may not be one of your families but it may be for others' families.

I also encourage to the newly released licensed holders who are healthcare workers to take action and spread this post as it is one of our duties to spread the opportunity to help people in need.

PGBH HOLDS SOLO EXHIBIT, BOOSTS SUPPORT FOR BOHOLANO ARTISTS

The Provincial Government of Bohol joins the celebration of the National Arts Month by holding a solo art exhibition made by a Boholano artist at the New Capitol Building lobby in Tagbilaran City.

The exhibit entitled " Mugna sa Bulawanong Hunahuna" features the works of visual artist Elvino Perocho Vitor. Vitor is a native of Baclayon whose artworks will be on display from February 6 to 13.

Hi guys by the way Im Allen from tagbilaran City share lang ko sa akong story sukad pagka bata gyud nako hilig nako ug drawing2 and pag bata pa nako hilig ko mag mix2 ug color sunogon or e melt lang gyud nako akong crayon before para lang maka mix2 lang gyud ug color kana laging bata pa ta curious gyud unsay color ma himo ug mag mix and tungod sa akong mga egagaw na inganyo gyud ko ug drawing
By the way tungod ani na talent na best in art ko from grade 1-6 usa ko sa ga hold sa name sa Booy South elementary school before and ni level up gamay pag high school and usa ko sa SPA student (special program of the arts) major in Visual arts sa Dr. Cecilio Putong National high school, tungod kay daghan kaayo ug talented na students adto na school naka explore kog Lain2 na talent like taking pictures, singing, playing instruments, and dancing and also naka learn pd gamay about theater na engaged pd ko ug sports. Sa DCPNHS diri gyud na inhance akong talent. Usa ko sa best in Visual from grade 7-10 and also usa ko sa naka dawat ug award na outstanding performance in special program of the arts.
Sa college taking up BSMT (Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation) medyo busy na gyud maong talagsa ra mka himo ug art work maong sa photography nako na focus

Sa likod adto na gamay na achievement Dili malikayan ang mga challenges like ma discourage ka sa mga negative comments sa uban tao but wala ko mo hunog, sigi lang gyud kog observe or mangutana ug unsaon ni, unsaon na, sa mga higher year pa nako. Ang ako lang ika advice sa mga bag.o na artist practice lang gyud and ayaw dibdiba ang mga negative comments sa mga uban tao sa imong artwork take it as a motivation and usa pa Dili man importante ang negative comment sa uban as long as ganahan and satisfied ka sa imong nahimo na artwork
and also as long as na enjoy ka sa imong gi buhat then that artwork is a masterpiece and walay nay maka himo lain pa ana.

August 31, 1829, the Bohol Rebellion, begun and led by Francisco Dagohoy against the Spaniards in 1744, was ended after 85 years. It was the longest revolt ever recorded in Philippine history.

From 1744 to August 31, 1829, a long period of 85 years, the Boholanos successfully maintained their independence. During the 85 years of Bohol’s independence, the patriotic Boholanos lived as free and sovereign people. They did not render forced labor nor pay tribute. They suffered neither racial discrimination nor social humiliation from the hands of the Spaniards. They did not experience abuses and cruelties from the Spanish regime. Dagohoy was able to maintain a government. His rule was firm and just. He was obeyed and respected by his people. Governing like the datus of the pre-Spanish era, he was the chief executive, the supreme judge, and the chief commander of the Boholano army. He was assisted by the old men in peace affairs and by the military captains in war matters.

Dagohoy defeated the Spanish forces sent against him. He established a free government in the mountains, and had around 3,000 followers, who subsequently increased to around 20,000. The patriots remained invincible in their mountain stronghold, and, even after Dagohoy’s death, they continued to defy Spanish power. The year of Dagohoy’s death is not mentioned in any history books, but since the revolt continued, it meant generations of Boholanos were enjoying their liberty.

Twenty Spanish governors general, from Gaspar de la Torre y Ayala (1739–1745) to Juan Antonio Martínez (1822–1825) tried to quell the rebellion and failed. In 1825, Governor General Mariano Ricafort Palacín y Abarca (1825–1830), upon his order, Alcalde-Mayor Jose Lazaro Cairo, head of some 2,200 Filipino-Spanish troops and several cannons, invaded Bohol on May 7, 1827. The brave Boholanos resisted fiercely. Alcalde-Mayor Cairo won several engagements, but failed to crush the rebellion. In April 1828, another Spanish expedition under Captain (later Major) Manuel Sanz landed in Bohol, with massive reinforcement. After more than a year of hard campaign, Captain Manuel Sanz finally subdued the Boholanos. By August 31, 1829, the rebellion had ceased.

Captain Sanz, leader of the Spanish expedition, wrote in his official report that 3,000 Boholanos escaped to other islands, 19,420 surrendered, 395 died in battle, and 98 were exiled. He also reported the capture of a large number of arms such as battle-axes, lances, bolos, campilans, muskets and even artillery pieces. Governor General Ricafort, with his chivalric magnanimity, pardoned 19,420 survivors and permitted them to live in the new villages of the lowlands.

Dagohoy will always live in the pages of Philippine history, not only as a good brother and a heroic man, but also as the leader of the longest Filipino revolt on record.
