‼️ Update ‼️ I’m breaking radio silence - unintentionally I’ve neglected this page for a couple months due to being awesome, crazy busy & then due to the personal journey I’m on with my health.
So hang on I’ll try to keep it short but if you know me - that’s impossible with my stories & explanations 😉
First let me say this is hard! Super crazy hard and I miss you ALL, my friends and my business so bad it hurts more than anything because it hurts my heart, my mind, my body and my soul! I have started this post 151,829 xs and couldn’t make it through, til today, so here we go! 😭 Albeit through my tears
So many friends texting and checking on me and asking so I’ll throw it to the masses on here.
As I’m sure most everyone knows …I had Spine Surgery on October 20th (was at the salon all the way til the 19th, that’s when the video is from) and then stayed in the hospital 4-5 days, it’s all fuzzy. Since being home I could get up for 5-10 minutes every 3 hours or so to walk otherwise I was in bed or in a recliner. I have had my first post-op appointment now and (unfortunately because I want to be Super Woman) I’m in the same stage mostly - I can’t do anything for 4 more weeks til next check up/check in and x-rays. I can get up more often and more minutes at a time when I feel strong enough AND maybe even do a few stairs. I can take small car rides as I get stronger also - so I guess it’s not really “nothing” there’s a little itty bitty lift of my restrictions (I wanted more) so to move more and enjoy a car ride to get me out of this house is great🤪! I am healing well with all four incisions 😯and so that’s great too!
Moving on, the moral is, I am not sure of a return date to the salon just yet 💔 I was told from the beginning it’s a minimum of 12 week recovery but I’m still praying I can beat that 🙏🏻
So much more I could say with lots of pieces & parts to my journey I could share but if you’ve read this far - I’m sure you’re done!
Lastly, I could never, ever, ever put into words what you all mean to me ♥️ I’m overwhelmed with how much love, caring & support you all have shown me! Your texts, cards, flowers, baskets, treats and calls have blessed me beyond measure! I thank God for each of you and for how he’s bringing me through this!
Reach out any time, give me grace to get back with you and if I’m missing anyone so far, I’m sorry, it’s not intentional! I am still on meds to control pain and muscles somewhat and tend to sleep a lot so there’s that! 🤪 And maybe I’m a little loopy at times lol!
I’ll be on here more now, posting content and updates so stay tuned!!
