Crests are perfect to be used on your save the dates, napkins, envelope seals, thank you notes, beverage cups, welcome signage, on your wedding website, totes, anything you can think of! You can even design a crest to celebrate a special event, not just a wedding.

I really wish I had one for my wedding, actually. You decide the icons you want created for your special crest, and I hand-paint them in my boho fun style and design it in Adobe. You can make it as serious or whimsical as you want!

Once the final layout is approved, I will send you the digital files for you to use as you please. I'm happy to help suggest 3rd party vendors for printing as well.

I ABSOLUTELY love painting illustrations in pieces and then bring them together to make one logo or fun pieces for swag 💕

Details:
When you give me all the sweet details and then I paint them individually and put them together in a way that will tell a story.

I paint each individual illustration and then using my scanner I scan the artwork in at 600 dpi (dots per inch) as a tiff (offers the best print quality).

Using Adobe, I clean up the image and digitize it in different formats and then, in layers, arrange the illustrations to create one design. 👏
I then give you your desired illustrations in various file formats to use.

This gives the option of, lets they want stickers or patches made of kitty with the red potted flowers or just the 3 pots together, I can create that design because I didn’t paint it as one illustration.
Maybe they want to make a sticker with both kitty & doggy and nothing else, you can! You have the option to create a unified brand with my watercolor illustrations that are fun, cheerful, and cohesive.

You have the option to keep all your originals and frame them, too! I've seen some beautiful ways of displaying the originals that are so fun!

My shoe illustrations came from binge watching all 6 seasons of S*x in the City when I was sick this last December.
I remember watching it when I was 20 when it first aired being mesmerized by the strong women characters of their 30's & 40's, but rewatching it as a 43 year old, I felt the shoes held more significance than the storyline 🫣.
Aiden was so much cooler back then 😆

🧂 Like salt & pepper, they add flavor to my life. Sometimes souls come into your life at a time that you're not looking for it, and you think, "Gosh, can I really care for them and afford them?"

No 😆. But I don't think I can afford not to have them now, either. On my hardest & darkest days, they bring me peace and perspective.

They look me dead in the eyes, and I swear they're reading every little worry in my mind and letting it just be okay to be me.

Creating the card series, the inspiration behind the sentiment - You're a Classsic 💌

I was inspired by for this card. Ona made a reel and was holding a vintage Corelle cup, and all of a sudden while watching it, memories of my childhood came flooding back, and all I could focus on was how the pattern made me 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭.

I had comfort and nostalgia and I could literally taste my Grandma Shirley's strawberry freezer jam and hear my Grandpa George saying, "Spread it crust to crust, edge to edge" when I made a peanut butter sandwich. They're gone now, but this pattern is still here, bringing back these childhood memories.

The pattern on these dishes makes you think of the go-to tuna casserole recipe or a Sunday jello salad.
Classic. Dependable. You know the 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭ing you get when you see these dishes, and sometimes-if you're really lucky-there are people who give you that same feeling.

👙 HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUIT🩱The story behind this one (like a lot of my cards) makes me giggle! 😄

I wanted another punny birthday card because they are ALWAYS a favorite and sell well year round (I have to be an artist AND business lady).

I started painting swimsuits, and I initially wrote down "Make a Splash" 🌊 as my inspiration! I keep a running list on my art desk of ideas as they come to me so that I can create them later 😉. But as I was painting them, the word 'suit' kept popping into my head... and all of a sudden, "Happy Birthday Suit" jumped out at me, and I laughed so hard I scared Hazel the kitty sitting in the chair with me! 😸

Now, when I told my husband when he got home from work about my NEW clever card, he just sort of tilted his head and slowly blinked at me (this happens a lot). And then, once it clicked, he giggled, too!

Honestly, some cards miss the mark, and some cards make people laugh out loud when they read them, but every single one of them has me giggling while creating them. So much joy is poured into every illustration and card!

My husband said I really need to film myself when I show him my new cards, because it's so entertaining to watch me describe the meaning of each card, maybe one day, but for now, I can't wait to launch HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUIT, very soon so you can get a kick out of sharing one! 💌

I'm so sorry. In 2023, I was asked a lot for a card that shared empathy & sympathy. For the loss of a spouse, a pet, or just an "I'm sorry" card, this happened at almost every market I was a vendor at.

💌 Most of my cards are silly, punny & funny and not appropriate for something that really expresses a deep loss.

🏞 I sat with it a while and decided on a road cutting through a pasture of pink flowers towards a mountain. It represents the journey of grief leading to a mountain of the unknown. The pink florals are meant to be the people who are with us on this path, soft, tender, and creating small glimmers of beauty.
Clouds are magic to me, I catch myself staring up at them every day. I daydream what it's like to be above them looking down, with this card wanted it to feel like it's just before dawn or just after the sun set. It's as if a new chapter was beginning or one had just closed.

I hope that this year, if someone asks me for a card for someone who is experiencing grief, and if they should receive this card, they feel loved & comforted. ❤️

Top 3 ways I stay organized & on task as an artist 🖌

🗓 My large dry erase annual wall calendar keeps all my market dates, market application due dates, tax due dates, and time off scheduled. Keeping them color coded helps me see if I have too many markets lined up in a row and not enough time scheduled for rest. 😉 It also lets me plan for wholesale due dates for designing new products and launches (or starting my Xmas ornaments in September).

📒 A large annual planner to schedule that is broken down by month, week & day. I love writing my scheduled projects out in the month at a glance page, then using the weekly section to make a task list and the daily section is broken down by the hour to keep my projects on schedule and completed by their due date.
My annual planner book & are BFF's - the only way to get a project on the booking calendar is to fill out my Custom Project Form. I used to have people email inquiries to me, but then there were a million emails and details to keep track of and post-it notes shuffled everywhere for one project. I have a simple and detailed form that you fill out about your project & idea. This keeps the photos, details, due dates, price list, and notes all in one cute little folder just for you! Once we decide this is a project we want to move forward with, you get added to my large annual planner and your setup with a project start date.

📲 Lastly, my phones calendar, I add anything that needs to be done that day at a certain time and set an alarm. This is for when you'd like to pick up your orders (so there's never a "Oh shoot" moment). Every time I have a wholesale delivery, Zoom call, order to be arranged for pick up... This little calendar stops me in my tracks and makes sure I complete the time sensitive task!

These are my top three tools I use to keep this little creative business chugging along and keeps my brain from being over stimulated. Being an artist and owning a business means using both the left & the right side of the brain, and I'm hoping that this year being organized will also give me the chance to bring in some helping hands and hire out when needed to keep my work/life/soul happy ✨️
