Have you ever been?

Hi šš¼ Happy New year! I thought I would say a quick hello and give you all an update. I know, Iām late to the party, but Iāve been enjoying a much needed rest and time with loved ones. Plus, the start of Jan has also been met with illness in our little family, so Iāve only just started to get going again recently.
Iāve decided Iām going to take things easy around here in 2024! No pressure, no major plans, just enjoy sharing what I enjoy when I want toā¦. basically the opposite of what all the marketing experts suggest!
But hey, I hope youāll stick around!
Just to say my Etsy shop is open, but with reduced stock. Iām going to have to a pause on custom orders. As much as I absolutely love them, they are time consuming and I have very little spare time at the moment.
Wishing you all well at the start of this new year!

The sun is shining in beautiful Cornwall so I just had to share this gorgeous custom order I created of one of its fantastic beaches. Have you ever visited Porthgwarra?
We are currently away visiting family in Scotland. Here is a drawing I did a while ago of where we are staying.
Itās Friday! And a bank holiday weekend! Will you be heading to a beach at all? Happy exploring wherever you go!
A colourful, abstract approach to the famous mines dotted around the Cornish landscape.
The colours emulate some of the geology of Cornwall; from the greens of the serpentine found down on the lizard, to the pinky hues of the granite. Very thankful for such a lovely review of my work!
I started creating cards for friends and family as a way to create something special for them that was a bit more personal. (I have a rather large family so there are always lots of birthdays to celebrate!) It still influences a lot of my designs today. Here is one of my latest for a friend who loves running! The designs start out like this, and then more often than not, it sparks ideas of ways to develop the collection!
Just a sunny beach print for a sunny day. I love Cornwall, but itās even better when the sun is out!
š Happy Earth Day š
Everyday should be Earth Day where we try and help look after Creation but Iāve decided to look at areas I can do better both in my business and personal life. I hope this little illustration might encourage you to do the same. Here are some ideas:
šlook at products you use regularly
and see if there are plastic free or recycled alternatives.
š² plant some wildflowers or native trees/ plants in your garden or any outdoor space you have.
šļø if you have space, compost your food waste.
ā”ļø join initiatives that reduce energy use. I recommend
āļø clear out junk mail and unused items in your cloud storage.
I will be giving an update soon on changes I have made!
ā¢PENDOWERā¢
Iāve been meaning to finish this drawing for ages but there we go. Here is one of my favourite beaches on the Roseland. It helps that itās one of our closest so we often come here but, I love that no matter how often you visit a beach, itās different every time you go!
ā¢MAGNUSā¢
This is Magnus, my doggie pal who we walk every week. Heās such a lovely dog and it was a real pleasure to create this drawing of him for his owner!
ā¢PUTSBOROUGH SANDSā¢
Bringing some springtime vibes with the florals in this Putsborough print. Swipe to see some of the details. š
ā¢FLORAL MOUNTAINSā¢
A fun, floral, feminine Mountain card hitting the shop today. I thought this design could be perfect for Motherās Day.
ā¢WHEAL COATESā¢
Itās always so lovely seeing my artwork up in peopleās homes. This piece was inspired by wheal Coates and the iconic engine houses that are dotted along the Cornish coastline.
ā¢SOCKSā¢
I decided to create a design for the weeks based on my absolute favourite pair of socks from . Not only do they look amazing but they are super comfy for all kind of adventures.
I also got some of these socks for my husband for Christmas and he loves his ones too!
ā¢HELLO 2023ā¢
