Some of the gems I've been working on recently.

This sapphire had a lot going on inside of it when we found it. After looking at it many times and a bit of preforming I got an absolutely loupe clean 1.55ct blue sapphire finished today.

Recently faceted.
Finished at just over 3ct this green sapphire found in the QLD gemfields. It has quite a dark cross with a small amount of silk.

2.9ct green QLD sapphire. A stunning deep Green and loupe clean I recently faceted for a client.

1.1ct vivid flashy green sapphire. NFS.

Client sapphire. QLD blue finished weight 1.9ct and clean.

Just finished this amazing sparkly New England Smokey quartz. A finished size of 9.2mmx9.6mmx7.2mm.

This is a larger smokey quartz I finished off today for a client. Finished size 16.4mmx10mm.

Today's client gem repair. A beautiful Topaz. I wasn't sure I could save this one at first as it had such a large piece chipped from the crown(top). After some consideration I managed to work around it (removed) and I'm happy I was able to give this beauty a new look.

Here's an update on a recent post from a sapphire we recently unearthed on a fossicking trip. Finished weight of 3.4ct.

Another beautiful New England Blue sapphire from a recent fossicking trip. Fresh off the dop finished weight of 0.56ct.

Back into faceting again after some time off. I had my first but very brief trip to the gemfields recently but the weather had other ideas. We did manage to catch up with The Evans Family Fossickers which was great. I'm currently working on a piece of Smokey Quartz.
