[ Exile 🌊✝️ ] This painting represents my faith statement. December 2021 I gave God my YES. Due to fear and a lack of support, I’ve always hid my talents or would give up easily. Through out life I was so gifted and excellent in every area of my life as a child and the enemy knew it before I did and sowed the seed of discouragement in my life. I always looked up to people for their feedback and to feel loved or approved in everything that I did before I started something but I would always get the opposite, because perfection was expected of me. This caused me to be a perfectionist and led me to never truly starting anything because it had to be perfect. As I grew older my potential was always there , but I would always start something and keep everything stored in the box of ‘I’ll bring it out someday’, in other words my closet. I felt I wasn’t deserving of what God blessed me with. I was afraid that I’d might fail God because I wasn’t ‘qualified’ for the calling on my life and the gifts and talents He’s placed on the inside of me to use.
