I made these shirts and cups a little bit back for a fortieth birthday girls weekend trip! This was a fun custom order! Etsy shop has remained closed since I’ve gotten a new job and I’m getting my feet under me but I am still taking on some custom orders. Not MIA, just have had a lot going on in my life that I haven’t been as active. Not how I anticipated but good things are coming! Here’s a photo of the latest update to we did yesterday. Slowly swapping out fixtures and handles to matte black.

Mine used to solely be Starbucks but the last few months Dunkin has been getting a lot of my attention.

The answer for me is four. Four times a night I wake up. Usually I can get right back to sleep but last night I tossed and turned for over an hour until I finally fell back asleep… for an hour. Then I fell back asleep for another two hours until my alarm went off.

Coffee can’t come fast enough! Thanks to my husband for running to get Starbucks this morning.

Yesterday I made my task to tackle reorganizing the linen closet in my master bathroom. I ran out to my local dollar tree and picked up all of the containers you see here besides the double decker turn table and the spice rack (that was a Walmart purchase).

I like trying to think outside of the box to repurpose things for new uses and this spice rack works perfect to display my nail polish colors.

I will be using removable vinyl and creating tags for these baskets for ease of finding what I need today. I can make you custom tags for your organizational needs! Feel free to reach out!

What is one unique thing you might need an organizational tag for? Mine will be “dry shampoo” in this closet - I have a whole basket of them on the bottom shelf!

I plan on working on some projects around the house and then meeting a small group of friends up for our monthly dinner together. Besides that I’m going to read and brainstorm some listing ideas.

Say hello to my shop manager, Sheska! She goes by many other names but I won’t list them here. She can often be found on this perch I gave her so she can not only watch over my work but gaze upon the neighborhood and the “rest of her minions”. She definitely thinks she’s in charge of the whole block from this spot.

When she isn’t here she can be found forming the most perfect loaves in her bread basket on our bed, putting all of her weight on one tiny spot on your leg while she tries to get comfortable or waiting at her automatic feeder 20 minutes before her three feedings of the day.

As we moved into the middle of some may be making it a permanent thing after realizing they were did not have a healthy relationship with it.

Hi! I’d like to formally introduce myself. My name is Amber and I’m the owner of Taos Haos Crafts. I started my little shop a year ago as an outlet for creativity. I'm a one person shop working out of my combination office/craft space.

I have worked full time in the education and publishing industry for the last 16 and 1/2 years but had been itching for a creative outlet for a while.

Shoutout to my friends Katie, Jes, Kelly and Krissy for constantly talking about all the things they were creating in our group chat. They re-ignited my desire to do more than just sit and read. I wanted to put that creativity into making things to bring others joy while bringing myself joy in the making process.

I do have a shop manager - my Russian Blue cat named Sheska - who likes to lounge in the middle of my workspace as I create. If I'm not being micromanaged by her, you can often find me reading on my Kindle or snuggling with Sheska while watching my husband play video games.
