Everything Earth Inspired

I got fed up with social media to the point I stopped posting and writing. I regret the full stop.

Looking back over the years of my journaling it’s raw, real and sometimes brutal. But it’s also FU***NG BEAUTIFUL!

I love my family. I am flawed, I overshare and don’t think I have a filter but this is me.

Incredible day with Jack walking BYU campus. This place has so much to appreciate.

I look forward to seeing him grow and learn— ask questions and experience new and exciting things.

I didn’t need to hear that he is one of 25 non-Mormon freshman enrolled this year to see how he stands out.

Jack is an exceptional young man with a good heart and strong mind. I love you my brave and daring son. ✨⛰ 🌲💕🤌🏻☀️

Wishing my sister Stephanie, aka “Wonder Woman” the happiest birthday.

Steph is a champion. The one that talked me to sleep on scary nights. The one that would turn out the lights even when it was my turn. The one that listened when she had no time to waste.

My sister reminds me it’s never too late. Ain’t no mountain high enough— ain’t no valley low enough. If music doesn’t work with me she tells me something Brene Brown would say and if all else fails…

She quotes Maya Angelou. For you, my sister, I will share a quote:

“Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination FULL OF HOPE.” — Maya Angelou

I love you and I hope you know it.
XO- Mel
